Subject Pronouns
o Yo – I

Asking someone’s name and saying yours

Introducing others and responses
o Introductions
 Ésta es… - This is… (a girl or woman)

o Words or phrases we often use with introductions
 Estudiante – student
 Una compañera de clase – a classmate (a girl)
 Un compañero de clase – a classmate (a boy)
 Mi mejor amiga – my best friend (who is a girl)

 Mi profesor – my teacher
 Use “de” + the subject to say what subject they teach

o Responding to an introduction
