In 1986 my grandfather, Josep Maria Raventós i Blanc, founded the winery
which now bears his name in the middle of a 90- hectare estate which had
been in his family since 1497.
Today, the estate comprises 44 plots which produce a range of distinctive
cavas. It’s our love for the ground beneath our feet, our land, which drives
us to create our own style of cava, the Raventós i Blanc style: with all the
depth, sparkle and expressiveness of their terroir that our cavas possess.
