Mass Intentions
Part of our tradition as a Catholic Community is to
remember our loved ones in our prayer and gathering.
Many times, we do this simple gesture of our prayer in the
intentions of our masses, published each week in our
bulletin. If you would like to set a special intention for a
loved one, please contact the Rectory at least two weeks
prior to the date you would like to reserve.

extension 16. The RCIA program will begin this fall to prepare candidates to enter into full
communion with the Catholic Church.
Religious Education 2014-2015
Once again we would like to remind all parents/guardians that the first class of the year in our R.E.
program will be on Saturday, September 13th. We will gather in the church at 9 AM. Parents are expected
to stay that morning. The children will meet their catechists and go over to their classrooms. Daniel Maul,
our DRE, will speak with the parents after the children’s dismissal. Then the parents will be invited to go
over to the children’s classrooms, meet their catechists, and stay for refreshments and conversation.
We will have a parent meeting for all NEW families to the program, on Tuesday, September 16th, at 7 PM
in the church. The meeting will not go longer than one hour. We will discuss the structure, philosophy
and expectations of our program. An adult representative from all new families is expected to attend.

Educación Religiosa 2014-2015
Una vez mas le queremos recordar a todos los padres/guardianes que la primera clase del Programa
de Educación Religiosa para este año será el Sábado, 13 de Septiembre. Nos reuniremos en la iglesia a las
9 AM. Los padres deben permanecer esa mañana. Los niños se reunirán con sus catequistas y
después pasaran a sus aulas. Daniel Maul, nuestro DRE, hablará con los padres después de que salgan los
niños. Luego se invitará a los padres a ir a las aulas de los niños, conocer a sus catequistas, y quedarse para
tomar un refresco y conversar.
Tendremos una reunión para todos los NUEVOS padres de familias en el programa, el Martes, 16 de
Septiembre, a las 7 PM en la iglesia. La reunión no va durar más de una hora. Hablaremos de la
estructura, la filosofía y las expectativas de nuestro programa. Se espera que un representante adulto de
todas las nuevas familias asistan. Gracias.

The Parish Council will be meeting on Monday evening, September 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Rectory.
One of the most important aspects of any Parish is the communication and support we give to one another to
help our community prosper and grow. We will look at many upcoming ways we can plan together and please
know that anyone who is interested is most welcome to come.
The planning, organization and even decorations that are part of our church are done with the support and
involvement of our Liturgy Team. This group will meet on Tuesday, September 9th at 7:30 p.m. If you would
like to assist, offer advice and also be part of our planning, please know you are most welcome.
Both of these important meetings will be at the Rectory. For further information, please call the Rectory
Office. We are finalizing the Annual Budget and we will have a Finance Committee Meeting and announce the
date for when we have the completed report. God Bless!

El grupo del Concilio Pastoral de la Parroquia se reunirá el Lunes por la noche, 8 de Septiembre a las 7:00 p.m.
en la Rectoría. Uno de los aspectos más importantes de cualquier parroquia es la comunicación y el
apoyo que damos uno al otro para ayudar a nuestra comunidad a prosperar y crecer. Veremos muchas formas
en que podemos planificar juntos y por favor sepa que cualquiera que esté interesado es bienvenido a asistir.
La planificación, organización e incluso decoraciones que son parte de nuestra iglesia se realizan con el apoyo y
la participación de nuestro Equipo de Liturgia. Este grupo se reunirá el Martes, 9 de Septiembre a las 7:30 p.m..
Si usted desea ayudar, ofrecer asesoramiento y también ser parte de nuestra planificación, por favor sepa que
son bienvenidos.

Millions in Iraq, Syria, and Gaza are continually being
displaced, murdered, and attacked, and the situation is
increasingly becoming more violent. Christians are
struggling to survive, protect their children, and live with
dignity in dire conditions. Catholic Relief Services
(CRS) is working tirelessly to provide for the immediate
humanitarian needs for the most vulnerable in need in
these conflict areas. Please pray for peace and unity and
you may donate to the Middle East through our Parish. If
you would like to make a donation, please place a plain
envelope in our regular collection next weekend and
mark it for “The Middle East Collection.” If you choose
