My dear Brothers and Sisters,
Santacruzan 2011…this weekend, on Saturday, May 28
Coronation in McCollum Hall at 7pm. Sunday, May 29
Procession at 4:30pm followed by Dinner in McCollum
Hall.
Santacruzan 2011...este fin de semana, sábado, mayo 28
Coronación en el salón McCollum a las 7pm. Domingo
mayo 29 Procesión a las 4:30pm y en seguido la cena en
el salón McCollum.
Two years ago, my mission was to come here at St. Clement Parish. During this time, I have been blessed with
God’s grace to grow in humility, compassion and love for
all of you here at St. Clement. My promise of obedience
has been challenged at times. I especially thank Fr.
Ramon for mentoring me and for sharing his experience
and wisdom with utmost generosity.
I will be leaving St. Clement Parish to serve as Parochial
Vicar at St. Anthony Parish in Oakley in July. My life is
to follow God’s will.
It is not easy to say good-bye. We have shared many
memories, and many friendships have developed throughout the years that it is hard to imagine not having you to
serve, but memories of those good relationships will always stay in my mind and in my heart.
I ask you to pray for me and through the intercession of
St. Clement and Blessed John Paul II, that I continue to
grow in God’s love and humility and share my life with
His children wherever He sends me. Jesus, I trust in you.

Mis queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Hace dos años, mi misión era llegar a esta parroquia
de San Clemente. Durante este tiempo, he sido bendecido
con la gracia de Dios al crecer en humildad, compasión
y amor por todos ustedes aquí en San Clemente. Mi
promesa de obediencia ha sido probada en ciertos
momentos.
Le doy gracias especialmente al Padre Ramon por apoyarme y por compartir su experiencia y sabiduría con
extrema generosidad.
Me iré de San Clemente para servir como Vicario en
la iglesia de San Antonio en Oakley en Julio. Mi vida es
para seguir la voluntad de Dios.
No es fácil decir adiós. Hemos compartido tantos momentos y a través de los años muchas amistades se han
desarrollado, que es difícil imaginarse el no seguirles
sirviendo. Pero los recuerdos de estas buenas relaciones
siempre se quedarán en mi mente y mi corazón.
Les pido que recen por mi y que mediante la intercesión
de San Clemente yo continúe creciendo en el amor y
humildad de Dios para compartir mi vida con Sus hijos
donde sea que El me envíe. Jesús, en Ti confió. Muchas
gracias y Yo los quiero a todos ustedes.
St. Vincent de Paul… this weekend there will be a
second collection for SVdP. Thank you for your continued support that makes it posible to help those who
come to our parish in need. Next weekend, June 4/5 is
the first of the month food collection. The ítems needed:
peanut butter, cereal, canned fruits, powdered milk,
crackers, and individually packaged food for the homeless. Donations may be placed in the containers in church
or brought to SVdP office Mondays, Wednesdays, or
Fridays 4 - 5pm. Thank you for your support.
San Vicente de Pablo ...este fin de semana habrá una
segunda colecta para SVdP. Gracias por su continuo
apoyo que hace posible ayudar a aquellos que vienen a
nuestra parroquia en necesidad. El próximo fin de semana junio 4/5 es la colecta de comida primer domingo del
mes. Se necesita: manteca de cachueta, galletas, cereal,
fruta en lata, leche de polvo, y comida en paquetes individuos para aquellos sin hogar. Donativos se pueden
poner en los contenedores en la iglesia o traerlos a la
oficina de SVdP lunes, miércoles, o viernes 4 - 5pm.

FESCO Shelter Shuffle Walkathon - Great Fun!
Great Success!… The combination of St. Clement youth
group and church parishioners raised over $2500 for
FESCO in this event. Thank you one and all for your
financial and other support! For next year we invite even
more parishioners to walk in this fun event to help homeless families.
