EVALUATION (EVALUATION´S INSTRUMENTS AND CRITERIA, PORCENTAGE OF FINAL GRADE, ETC.)
Assessment for this subject is formative, hence the pupil is evaluated periodically (Weekly assignments, mid-term
tests…), and is based on the following aspects (Check articles from 6 to 8, norms and guidelines for students
assignment).
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
. Ensures the full understanding of contents (Theoretical and Practice) and the student correct development of
them.
. Evaluate Practice work, paying heed to these aspects: Presentation, Exposition, Write-up, composition,
neatness, clear transmission of ideas, scientific base, reasoning, review and updates bibliography.
. Student attitude and aptitude reflected through his/her work, presentation and debate session
. Attendance to lectures, practice sessions, seminaries, conferences and consultations
TOOLS FOR ASSESSMENT
. Written tests: Essays, shortly-answered questions, problem-solving exercises.
. Oral tests: Project presentation (Single or in groups), interview and debates.
. Tests including graphic exercises, concise or developed answers. These answers may vary in their nature:
Descriptive, analytical…
. Essays, reports and studies, data schedule,…
Página 3
. Drawing skills evaluation test
The glossary of practices can be found in this guide. The last one of them is of compulsory nature. It encompasses
all Theory-practice contents seen in the subject. Before passing the subject the students must have passed this
practice assignment beforehand (See assessment norms of the University of Granada art. 7.2)
The right to choose Final Single assessment type is exclusively given to students whose reasons for not attending
lessons are important (Such as work duties). The students must request so within the first fortnight to the
responsible department.
Full norms at http://secretariageneral.ugr.es/bougr/pages/bougr83/_doc/ncg831 for further information.
GRADING SYSTEM
The total mark comes out from practice assignments (50%) and mid-term/final tests (50%)
