Deb has lived in Yavapai County for 54 years. She attended Lincoln School, Prescott
Junior High and Prescott High School. Following her graduation from Yavapai
Community College, Deb attended NAU obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Southwest
Studies and a Master’s Degree in Community College Education. She has been
involved with Yavapai Community College since 1970 as a student, alumnus, staff
member, administrator, and retired employee.
Deb is a proven leader and has dedicated much time and effort serving as a volunteer
on numerous local non-profit organization boards.
Deb’s vision for the future includes:
• Increased Career and Technical Education training opportunities in conjunction
with VACTE in the Verde Valley.
• Access to educational programs in small rural communities by utilizing the latest
technologies focusing on opportunities for the underserved.
