The Role of Professional Child Care
Providers in Preventing and Responding to Child Abuse and Neglect
This manual provides information on the roles
and responsibilities of child care providers in preventing, recognizing, and reporting child abuse
and neglect within and outside early childhood
programs. It also presents an overview of prevention efforts, reporting laws, caring for maltreated children, and ways to support parents
and professionals who work with families.
Updating Your Referral Information
Every month, Pathways refers hundreds of parents to licensed
family child care homes and child care centers who are on our referral database. It is very important for your program to inform
Pathways of any changes such as vacancies or hours of operation, in order for us to provide parents accurate information about
your program.

Disciplina de nacimiento a tres años
¿Se ha preguntado alguna vez cuando es que la disciplina comienza y lo que se puede hacer para ayudar a los bebés y niños pequeños? Este taller explica la importancia
de la disciplina durante los primeros 3 años. Usted aprenderá lo que los niños pequeños necesitan para sentirse seguros, ser capaces de calmarse a sí mismos para disminuir los problema de comportamiento cuando crezcan.

Informacion Importante para los Talleres
Please RSVP at (213) 427-2710. Trainings will be
located at: Pathways, 3550 W. Sixth St., 4th floor,
LA, CA 90020 unless noted otherwise. The entrance to the building is on the eastside of the
building on Mariposa Avenue. If a training is cancelled, we will contact those who have RSVP prior to
the training. RSVP is based on first come, first
served basis. Trainings are subject to change or
cancellation.
**Please RSVP no earlier than two weeks before the
training. No Children Please!**
Parking is available in the lot located on the corner
of 6th and Normandie. You must display a Pathways’ Parking Pass and only park in the “Pathways
Staff” spaces. Parking passes can be obtained from
the security guard in the underground garage. If security guard is not present, parking passes can be
picked up at the entrance of the training room.

Estacionamiento será disponible en la esquina de la Calle
Sexta y Normandie. Tiene que demostrar un Pase de Estacionamiento de Pathways y solamente estacionarse en espacios indicados "Pathways Staff". Los Pases para Estacionamiento de Pathways pueden ser obtenidos con el guarda
de seguridad en el garaje subterráneo. Si el guarda de seguridad no está presente, los pases para el estacionamiento pueden ser recogidos en la entrada del cuarto de instrucción.
