TIP: Before starting, cut 26 lengths of 10 inches (25 cm) of the special yarn. These will be
used for the fringe of your scarf.

• T o fix the yarn to your knitting loom, tie a loop knot and slip it through the first
pin on your loom (refer to illustration).
• Pour attacher le fil au métier à tricoter, fais un nœud coulant et glisse-le sur le
premier crochet (réfère-toi à l’image).
• Para colocar el hilo en el telar de tricotar, haz un nudo de lazo y pásalo por el
primer clavo del telar. (Consulta la ilustración).

• S tart weaving the yarn between the pins, going up and down diagonally.
When you reach the end of the loom, return and go around the pins you
have not done yet.
• Commence par enrouler le fil autour des crochets en allant de haut en
bas, en diagonale. Une fois arrivé au bout du métier à tricoter, reviens en
enroulant le fil autour des autres crochets qui n’ont pas été entourés.
• E mpieza a tejer el hilo entre los clavos, avanzando de arriba abajo en
diagonal. Cuando llegues al final del telar, regresa enrollando el hilo por los
clavos que no pasaste en el primer recorrido.

• R
epeat step 2 until you have 2 strings of yarn around each pin of your knitting
loom.
• Répète l’étape 2 de façon à avoir 2 fils enroulés sur chaque crochet du métier
à tricoter.

• Repite el paso 2 para tener 2 hebras de hilo alrededor de cada clavo del telar.
• Each time you have finished weaving the yarn around each pin, you can utilise the ends of
the loom in your work by temporarily attaching the yarn to them (refer to illustration).
• Chaque fois que tu as terminé d’enrouler le fil autour des crochets, utilise les extrémités du
métier pour attacher le fil temporairement et faciliter ton travail (réfère-toi à l’image).
• Cuando coloques el hilo alrededor de cada clavo, puedes evitar que se suelte mientras
sigues trabajando enrollándolo en el extremo del telar (consulta la ilustración).

• N
ow fix the fringes of your scarf. Take one of the 26 lengths of yarn that you cut
at the beginning and refer to the illustration to see how to make the fringe. Go
to the end of the loom, carefully attaching each of the 13 lenghts of yarn.
• Tu dois ensuite fixer les franges à l’écharpe. Utilise une des 26 longueurs de fil
coupés au début et réfère-toi à l’image pour savoir comment fixer les franges.
Va jusqu’à la fin du métier à tricoter, en prenant soin d’attacher chacune des 13
franges.

espués tendrás que colocar los flecos de la bufanda. Utiliza una de las 26
hebras de hilo que has cortado y consulta la ilustración para saber cómo unirla.
Avanza hasta el final del telar hasta colocar un total de 13 hebras.

• U
se the hook to start knitting. Remove the bottom loop from the first pin
and bring it to the middle of the loom, passing over the top loop. Repeat
steps A and B with all 24 pins. Once finished, bring down the remaining
loops on each pin, so these loops become the bottom ones.
• Utilise le crochet pour commencez à tricoter. Retire la boucle du bas du
premier crochet et emmène-la au milieu du métier en la passant par-dessus
la boucle du haut. Répéte les étapes A et B avec les 24 crochets du métier.
Une fois terminé, pousse chaque boucle vers le bas, de façon à ce que ces
boucles deviennent celles du bas.
• U
se la aguja de ganchillo para empezar a hacer punto. Saque el lazo del
fondo del primer alfiler y llévelo al centro del telar, pasando por encima del
lazo de la parte superior. Repita los pasos A y B con todos los 24 alfileres. Una

• O
nce all 24 loops are transferred to the middle, start again by winding
the yarn around the pins, as shown in step 2. Again, bring the bottom
loop to the middle of the loom as illustrated in step 6. Keep on repeating
these steps until you run out of yarn.
• Lorsque tu as terminé de retirer toutes les boucles du bas vers le milieu
du métier, recommence en enroulant le fil autour des crochets comme
à l’étape 2. Retire ensuite à nouveau les boucles du bas pour les amener
au milieu comme démontré à l’étape 6. Continue à répéter ces étapes
jusqu’à ce que tu aies utilisé tout le fil.

illustration to see how to attach the yarn. Go to the end of the loom,
