WILLIAMSON-TRAVIS COUNTIES MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1
TO THE RESIDENT, QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF SAID DISTRICT:
TAKE NOTICE that an election will be held in said District as provided below:
A directors election shall be held on November 8, 2016 to elect two directors of the District.
Notice of the election shall be given as required by law. The ballots used for the election
shall comply with the Texas Election Code and be in the form provided by the District to the
Williamson County Elections Administrator and the Travis County Clerk for use on the respective
voting devices used by those jurisdictions. Voting in the election for directors of the District shall
be by use of the Counties’ voting systems which shall utilize English and Spanish and shall
conform to the Election Code, as amended. The ballots used in the election shall have printed
thereon the following:

The persons named on the ballot shall be those persons who are qualified to serve as a
director of the District who timely filed an application for a place on the ballot.
Oral assistance in Spanish shall be made available to all persons requiring such assistance.
Any person requiring oral assistance in Spanish should contact the Presiding Judge or the Early
Voting Clerk.
The Williamson County Elections Administrator and the Travis County Clerk and their
employees and appointees and the election judges, alternate judges and clerks properly appointed
for the election shall hold and conduct the election, and the official ballots, together with such
other election materials as are required by the Texas Election Code shall be prepared in both
English and Spanish languages and shall contain such provisions, markings and language as may
be required by law. The election will be held jointly with other participating entities.
The Early Voting Ballot Board Presiding Judge and Alternative Presiding Judge shall be
appointed in accordance with the Election Agreements with the Counties and shall be in
accordance with the Election Code. The Central Counting Station Presiding Judge and the
Alternate Presiding Judge shall be appointed in accordance with the Election Agreements and the
Election Code. Early voting, both by personal appearance and by mail, will be conducted by the
Williamson County Elections Administrator and the Travis County Clerk in accordance with the
Texas Election Code. Early voting by personal appearance shall be conducted at the places and
locations authorized by State law and by the Williamson County Elections Administrator and the
Travis County Clerk. Early voting shall commence on Monday, October 24, 2016 and continue
through Friday, November 4, 2016. Early voting may be conducted at any Travis County early
voting location for voters residing in Travis County, and early voting may be conducted at any
Williamson County early voting location for voters residing in Williamson County. The hours
for early voting and the voting locations will be established by the Counties. For Williamson
County the hours for early voting for full-time locations shall be 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for
weekdays and Saturdays, with Sunday voting from noon to 6:00 p.m. The main location for early
voting in Williamson County shall be the Williamson County Inner Loop Annex at 301 SE Inner
Loop, Georgetown, Texas 78626. For Travis County, the hours for early voting at the main
location which is ACC Highland Mall, 6001 Airport Boulevard, Suite 2420, Austin, Texas 78751
shall be 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Other early voting locations and the times for which they will be open are listed below. The Early
Voting Clerk’s mailing address to which ballot applications and ballots voted by mail may be sent
is: Williamson-Travis Counties Municipal Utility District, c/o Willatt & Flickinger, PLLC, 12912
Hill Country Boulevard, Suite F-232, Austin, Texas 78738.
The election precincts for the election shall be the election precincts established by the
Counties, provided that each shall contain and include geographical area within the District. The
polling place for each such election precinct shall be the polling place established by the Counties.
In Travis County, the election day polling place shall be the polling place for Precinct 374, which
is Deer Creek Elementary School, 2420 Zeppelin Drive, Cedar Park, Texas 78613 and all of the
additional election day polling places listed below. In Williamson County, the election day
polling place shall be the polling places for Precincts 216, 273 and 277, which are any of the Vote
Center Locations listed below. The polls shall remain open on the day of election from 7:00 a.m.
to 7:00 p.m. The returns shall be provided by precinct by the Counties.
The election shall be held and conducted and returns shall be made to the Board of
Directors in accordance with the Election Code as modified by Chapters 49 and 54, Texas Water
Code.
The presiding judges, alternate presiding judges and clerks for the election shall be selected
and appointed by the Counties in compliance with the requirements of state law, and they are
hereby designated and appointed election officers for the holding of said election. The presiding
judges, alternate presiding judges and clerks shall perform the functions and duties of their
respective positions that are provided by state law.
The election shall be held and conducted by the Williamson County Elections
Administrator and the Travis County Clerk in compliance with state and federal law and with the
respective Election Agreements.

SE NOTIFICA que se celebrará una elección en dicho Distrito según lo dispuesto a

Se llevará a cabo una elección de directores el 8 de noviembre de 2016 para elegir dos
directores del Distrito.
Se dará aviso de la elección como lo exige la ley. Las boletas de votación utilizadas en la
elección deberán cumplir con el Código Electoral de Texas y ser de la forma provista por el Distrito
al Administrador de Elecciones del Condado de Williamson y al Secretario del Condado de Travis
para ser utilizadas en los respectivos dispositivos utilizados por esas jurisdicciones. La votación
en la elección de directores del Distrito será mediante el uso de los sistemas de votación de los
Condados, los cuales usarán inglés y español y cumplirán con el Código Electoral de Texas,
enmendado. Las boletas de votación a utilizarse en la elección tendrán impreso lo siguiente:

Las personas nombradas en la boleta de votación deberán ser aquellas personas que estén
calificadas para ocupar el cargo de director del Distrito que hayan presentado puntualmente una
solicitud para un lugar en la boleta de votación.
Habrá disponible asistencia oral en español para todas las personas que la requieran. Toda
persona que requiera asistencia oral en español debe comunicarse con el juez presidente o el oficial
de votación anticipada.
El Administrador de Elecciones del Condado de Williamson y el Secretario del Condado
de Travis y sus empleados y personas designadas y los jueces electorales, jueces alternos y
funcionarios debidamente designados para la elección, celebrarán y estarán a cargo de le elección,
y las boletas de votación oficiales, junto con tales otros materiales electorales requeridos por el
