El profeta Isaías (PRIMERA LECTURA) quiere encender en el
pueblo de Israel la llama de la esperanza por la llegada del
Mesías, y para eso describe un mundo lleno de justicia y de
concordia. También san Pablo (SEGUNDA LECTURA) nos habla
de la esperanza y nos dice que toda ella se funda en la bondad y
la bondad y la fidelidad de Dios. De igual manera, san Mateo
(EVANGELIO) nos muestra la gran figura de Juan el Bautista,
quien invita a sus contemporáneos a preparar “el camino del
Señor” y a purificar su conducta, porque ya es inminente la venida
del Mesías.

THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF MARY
HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION
On Thursday, December 8, in observance of the Solemnity
of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, the patroness of the
United States of America, a Mass will be celebrated at 8:00
am in Spanish & 12:05 pm in English. Everyone is invited to
come and honor our Blessed Mother.
MASS INTENTION BOOK FOR THE YEAR 2017
The new Mass Intention Book for 2017 has opened. You may
choose dates that are available. If you have intentions you would
like to offer during a Mass, please bring them to the Parish Office.
NO intentions will be accepted by phone. All intentions must
be made in person during office hours (M-F: 9a-12p & 1:30p3:30p). Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

SANCTUARY CANDLE FOR THE YEAR 2017
Anyone interested in making a $10.00 donation to have the
Sanctuary Candle burning weekly in memory of a loved one or for
a special intention may do so in person in the Parish Office during
regular hours.

The parish office will be closed on Thursday, December 8 in
observance of Immaculate Conception of Mary. The office will
open on Friday at its regular hours.
