Fr. Hiếu’s Message
A lesson for those who want to be the greatest
In our society, we often hear people say "I'd like to leave my
legacy to the next generation." Obviously, they want to be
better than everyone else or to be the greatest amongst the
people.
Though, we heard of a different story in today's Readings and
Gospel. Jesus is God, yet he allowed the world to test him in
every way and he did not sin. In the Gospel, he taught his
disciples not to look on and expect much of being the greatest,
not to be recognized by other people.
It is very hard to be a Christian nowadays because we are
different than all others living among us; particularly with society . However, we are proud to be Christians because the
Christian take care of others.

Una lección para aquellos que quieren ser el mayor
En nuestra sociedad, a menudo oímos que la gente dice "Me gustaría
dejar mi legado a la siguiente generación." Obviamente, ellos
quieren ser mejor que los demás o ser el más grande entre la gente.
Sin embargo, nos enteramos de una historia diferente en Lecturas y
el Evangelio de hoy. Jesús es Dios, sin embargo, permitió que el
mundo lo pusiera a prueba en todos los sentidos y no lo hizo pecar.
En el Evangelio, él enseñó a sus discípulos que no miran y esperan
mucho de ser el más grande, y no ser reconocido por otras personas.
Es muy difícil ser Cristiano hoy en día porque somos diferentes a
todos los demás que viven entre nosotros; en particular con la
sociedad. Sin embargo, estamos orgullosos de ser Cristiano, porque
el Cristiano se hace cargo de los demás.
