We celebrate World Day of Prayer for Vocations. We ask that we may be filled with joy and the Holy Spirit as we carry on the mission of Jesus, our Good Shepherd. Let us pray for one another that we may be strengthened in our Christian vocations as married and single people, priests deacons, and religious. May our youth listen to God’s call and be encouraged to respond generously. Each year the Archdiocese of New Orleans asks each parish to select an altar server to be honored at a Mass with Archbishop Aymond. While St. Clement has certainly benefited from the capable service of many servers this year, Matthew LaCour was selected as our Outstanding Altar Server of the Year, an honor well-deserved for his years of service. Matthew is a 9th grade student at Jesuit High School. Congratulations, Matthew!! Please join the cub scouts for their annual Pancake breakfast in Vosbein Hall on Sunday, April 24 from 8:00 am—Noon. Come enjoy fresh pancakes, sausage and bacon with coffee, mile and juice. Tickets of $10 per person. Tickets will be sold in the back of church after all Masses the weekend of April 16 & 17. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Fourth Sunday of Easter TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — The Jews angrily reject Paul and Barnabas’ preaching.
