PAGE 5 This Wednesday, May 11, 6:00-7:25 pm in KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CORNER When Fr. Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882, the Order’s 1st Principle was and is “Charity”. Widows and their family can be destitute after the death of a spouse. Knights will always be committed to helping any widow and family in tragic circumstances. A team of Bothell Knights is helping a family today deal with that tragedy. They are helping with the estate sale, finances, relocation and furniture moving. The Bothell Knights will be hosting the July 24th Malawi Benefit Dinner at our Bothell Rental Hall. Our Sister Parish Committee wants to raise donations to help the representatives for St. Joseph parish in Malawi travel to the United States to meet our St. Brendan parishioners. Tickets will be available starting in late June. Each time Archbishop Sartain or Bishop Eusebio Elizondo preside at a ceremony in our parishes, the Knights will assemble a Honor Guard. Sunday, May 1st, 54 candidates from Woodinville and Bothell received the sacrament of Confirmation at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. Many Knights were sponsors for the candidates. Host Pastor, Fr. Frank Schuster and Co-Host Pastor, Fr. Jim were very appreciate of the Knights support. Cursillo Ultreya Looking for spiritual growth? Meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:00 pm in the library.
