How to Use: Administration Handout for Patients

HOW TO USE
DAILY
FLONASE® Allergy Relief works best
when you use it daily as directed.
HAYFEVER / 0.05% NASAL SPRAY
Here’s how to get started.
1 Shake
HAYFEVER / 0.05% NASAL SPRAY
2 Prime
3 Blow
4 Aim
5 Breathe
and spray
Blow nose gently
to clear nostrils.
Close one nostril
and put tip of
spray nozzle in
other nostril.
While sniffing gently,
press down on spray
nozzle once or twice
(according to dosing
instructions). You’ll feel
a light mist in your nose.
Breathe out through
your mouth.
Do this when:
•Starting new bottle
•Haven’t used it in a week
•Just cleaned nozzle
Otherwise go to step 3
Gently shake spray
bottle.
Aim away from face.
Grasp spray bottle as
shown. Pump until fine
mist appears.
Remove green cap.
Pumped six times and
still no mist? Spray
nozzle may be clogged.
Tip
Warning
Do not spray in
your eyes.
Only for use in
your nose.

Repeat in
other nostril.
Put just
the tip into
your nose.
Aim slightly
away from
center
of nose.
Wipe spray nozzle
with clean tissue
and replace cap.

HAYFEVER / 0.05% NASAL SPRAY

Sople la nariz
suavemente para
limpiar las fosas nasales.
Cierre una fosa nasal
y coloque la punta de
la boquilla del aerosol
en la otra fosa nasal.
Haga esto cuando:
• Comience con un
nuevo frasco
• No lo haya usado por
una semana
• Acabe de limpiar
la boquilla
De lo contrario,
vaya al paso 3
Agite suavemente el
frasco del aerosol.
Punta
Apunte lejos del rostro.
Agarre el frasco del
aerosol tal como se
muestra. Bombee hasta
que aparezca un
fino rocío.
Quite la tapa verde.
Advertencia
No rocíe en los ojos.
Utilícelo solo en
la nariz.
¿Ha bombeado seis veces y
aún no aparece el rocío?
La boquilla del aerosol podría
estar obstruida.

Mientras inhale
