Main Tourist Attractions of the City
Location
In Toluca, Capital of the State of México, visitors can enjoy a
stroll around the “Portales”, which is the first major civic building
in the city dating from the 19th century. Toluca has the second
largest selection of museums in the country. Visitors can visit and
admire The José María Velasco Museum, The Felipe S. Gutiérrez
Museum, The Luis Nishizawa Museum, The Museum of Fine
Arts, the Watercolor Museum, the Numismatic Museum, the
Stamp Museum and The “Cosmovitral” Botanical Garden. The
Popular Culture, Anthropology and Modern Art Museums can
be visited at the “Mexiquense” Cultural Center.

México. It is located 41 miles from
México City.
Air Transportation
The “Lic. Adolfo López Mateos
International Airport” is located
in Toluca, from which executive
and cargo flights operate. The
airport currently operates a daily flight to Houston, served by
Continental Airlines.
