The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation is inviting applications for the Terri Lynne
Lokoff/Children's Tylenol National Child Care Teacher Awards, an awards program that is
designed to acknowledge the critical role of childcare teachers in providing high-quality child
care.
The program is open to childcare teachers in the fifty states, the District of Columbia, and on all
United States military bases and installations. Applicants must be teachers of infants, toddlers,
or preschool-age children, and must work full time in a home, group, or center-based program
that is fully compliant with local and state regulations for operating childcare programs. In
addition, applicants must have been working as paid full-time childcare teachers in their current
regulated program for a minimum of thirty-six consecutive months by December 2015, and
programs must be open a minimum of ten hours a day, five days a week, twelve months a year.
Only one Terri Lynne Lokoff/Children's Tylenol National Childcare Teacher Awards application
per center may be submitted.
Fifty award recipients will receive awards of $1,000 each - $500 to acknowledge their special
dedication and $500 for a classroom enhancement project designed as part of the application
process. The top ten qualifiers become finalists for the Helene Marks Award for the National
Child Care Teacher of the Year. The teacher chosen as the Helene Marks Award recipient will
receive an additional $1,000 award.

La Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation ha abierto la invitación para aplicaciones a los
premios “Terri Lynne Lokoff/Children's Tylenol National Child Care Teacher Awards”, un

Cincuenta recipientes de premios recibirán premios de $1,000 cada uno - $500 para reconocer
su especial dedicación y $500 para un proyecto de mejoría de la sala de clase diseñado como
parte del proceso de postulación. Las diez personas que tienen una cualificación más alta
pasan a ser finalistas para el premio Helene Marks Award for the National Child Care Teacher
