SUBJECT: Edgewater Pedestrian Safety Improvements
Project Limits: Edgewater Street from Kingwood Avenue to Patterson Avenue
Status Report No. 16
This update provides a schedule of anticipated construction to be performed within the next
couple of weeks on the Edgewater work in West Salem. Typically construction will occur
during daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nighttime work is not anticipated for this reporting
period. Contractor anticipates construction to resume on the remaining ADA ramps and curb
extensions mid September.
Week of September 4—September 7, 2012

Electrical work for the pedestrian light poles continued this week.
Week of September 10—September 14, 2012
•
New excavation and construction of curb extensions will be on hold this week to allow
for completion of other areas.

Electrical work for the pedestrian light poles will continue this week.
Week of September 17—September 21, 2012
•
Excavation and construction of the remaining curb extensions will resume this week.
McNary Avenue NW and Gerth Avenue NW will begin this week along with the storm
drain work at the intersection of Kingwood Avenue NW and Edgewater Street NW.

Electrical work for the pedestrian light poles will continue this week.
