Project’s title: AB Abolish bullying
Project description
Bullying is not just a rite of passage to adulthood, but a serious problem of violence against and
among young people, spread in most European countries. The purpose of the project is to
determine whether there are similarities between different countries relative to situations in
which bullying occurs, profiles of victims and bullies.
A program (duration: 12 months):
- To build a shared model of social communication
- Direct with privilege to the world of schools (50 Schools/Country) and prisons (5
Prisons/Country)
- The scholastic and correctional population involved will be the protagonists of a TV and radio
commercials, which will be disseminated (30 TV passages and 100 radio passages/Country)
- A national competition will award 20 graphic and photographic works on the subject of
bullying with a traveling exhibition (in 20 cities/Country), the first of the 20 works will
become the national Manifesto against bullying (posting 2000 copies/Country in 40
cities/Country)
- The organization of 4 training workshops/Country, which will be directed to the scholastic
trainers with the aim to identify and disseminate a participatory multilingual “pocket spellingbook of anti-bullying”
- The preparation of a dedicated multilingual site and its continuous update - guaranteed by the
contributions deriving from partners and from scholastic and correctional institutes involved
- The organization of a “national conference on bullying” will give the way to exchange good
practices and “the operating instructions” of the handbook produced by the project for
trainers and youth.
