Dear Parish Family of Saint Clement,
The Lord be with you!
For the past three weeks, I have been sharing with you the main components of the Weekend: Music, Ministry
and Message. This week I would like to share with you what I believe is the FOUNDATION for the weekend. You may
have no ced on the front of the bulle n the phrase: Trinity Centered and Discipleship Driven. ALL that we do at
Saint Clement, including the Weekend Liturgies need to be rooted in this basic concept. Whatever we do at Saint
Clement, needs to be CENTERED on the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and what DRIVES us are the last recorded
words of Jesus in the Gospel of Ma hew: “Go therefore and make disciples of all naƟons” Mt 28: 19.
Discipleship making is meant to be a KEY focus of our Church. Healthy Discipleship, involves learning and living
the Five Habits of Inten onal Discipleship, which are the FOUNDATION of being: “Trinity Centered and Discipleship
Driven”. Here they are in their proper order:
• Pray: Begins with “owning our Ini a on Sacraments: Bap sm, Confirma on and Eucharist” which involves
“repen ng and believing the Gospel” and developing a personal and communal rela onship with the Trinity
through a daily prayer me.
• Study: Knowing, understanding and applying the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church in our personal lives on
a regular basis
• Generosity: Sharing the First Fruits of our Time, Talent and Treasure with our family, church and world, willingly
and joyfully
• Koinonia: Imita ng the “fellowship” of the Trinity with our families, others and especially with our Parish Family
• Evangelize: Sharing the Gospel we have RECEIVED & EXPERIENCED with family, friends and neighbors; locally and
globally
These Five Habits of IntenƟonal Discipleship need to be INTERWOVEN into everything we do. I invite ALL our
families, whether you live alone or are a part of a large extended family, to become Trinity Centered and Discipleship Driven. I invite all our ministries to become Trinity Centered and Discipleship Driven. I invite YOU, to become
Trinity Centered and Discipleship Driven and I want you to encourage me to be Trinity Centered and Discipleship
Driven.
Imagine the IMPACT we will have on our Parish and Plant City, if TOGETHER, we become Trinity Centered and
Discipleship Driven? That is what I am commi ed to doing, ESPECIALLY on the WEEKEND and I hope you are too!
I am excited about implemen ng what I have been sharing with you this past month. We will need to priori ze
our efforts and develop a three to five year ac on plan. Please begin praying now our Holy Spirit prayer, that the
Spirit will lead and guide us into becoming a: Trinity Centered and Discipleship Driven Parish Family.

To promote a safe and fun environment
for our children, the Knights of Columbus is hosting a trick-or-treat alternative.
Kids can trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk
in a line-up of vehicles parked in the
church’s back parking lot.
Interested in decorating your car &
passing out candy?
Pick a theme and bring lots of treats for the
kids. Cars will start lining up at 5pm to be
ready for trick-or-treaters at 6pm.
ASSISTANCE FOR CHRISTMAS
Once again, our parish will have an Angel Tree to help parish families in need of assistance during this Christmas Season. If you are a family who is in need of assistance this
Christmas, please stop by the parish office Monday, November 3 thru Friday, November 14 to fill out a registraon form. Assistance will be given to families that are
registered in the parish only.
During the month of November, angel tags with the names of children from
the parish, will be available for parishioners to take. More informa on will

wanted a closer look at what it’s all about? Well, the altar servers would like to
invite you to join our ministry. We are seeking boys and girls from our parish that
would like to become more involved by serving at Mass. We’ll provide the training,
all you have to do is show up with enthusiasm and a heart that is ready to participate in Mass in a new way.

y Conducidos por el discipulado. TODO lo que hacemos en San Clemente, incluyendo las Liturgias del fin de semana,
necesita estar CENTRADO en el Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo y los que nos MOTIVA son las úl mas palabras de Jesús en
el Evangelio de Mateo: “Vayan pues y hagan discípulos de todas la naciones” Mt 28: 19
El hacer discípulos ene que ser un foco PRINCIPAL de nuestra Iglesia. Un Discipulado Saludable lleva consigo el
aprender y vivir los Cinco Hábitos de un Discipulado intencional, que son la BASE de ser: Centrados en la Trinidad y
Mo vados por el Discipulado. Aquí están en su propio orden:

Oración: Comienza con “ser dueños de nuestros Sacramentos de Iniciación: Bau smo, Confirmación y Eucarisa” que lleva consigo “arrepen miento y creer en el Evangelio” y el desarrollo de una relación comunal y personal con la Trinidad a través de un empo diario de oración.
Estudio: Conocer, entender y aplicar, de una forma regular, las enseñanzas de Jesucristo y Su Iglesia en nuestras vidas personales.

Imaginen el IMPACTO que tendríamos en nuestra Parroquia en Plant City, si TODOS JUNTOS, estuviéramos centrados en la Trinidad y Conducidos por el Discipulado. Esto es lo que me he propuesto hacer, ESPECIALMENTE en el FIN

Es una manera de promover un ambiente seguro y divertido para que
nuestros niños pidan trick-or-treat de
carro a carro. Carros estarán estacionados en una línea en el estacionamiento atrás de la Iglesia.
¿Interesado en decorar su carro y
repartir dulces?
Decore su carro y traiga muchos dulces
para repartir a los niños. Carros comenzaran a ponerse en línea a las 5pm para estar listos para recibir a los niños a las 6pm.

Una vez mas, nuestra parroquia estará ayudando a familias necesitadas de la parroquia con ayuda durante esta
