Programa

El Centro Coreográfico de La Gomera se
ramifica en varios Departamentos para poder
cumplir en diferentes contextos socio-culturales y
educativos con su misión de sensibilización a la
Danza, al cuerpo.
En concreto el Departamento Coreográfico se
divide a su vez en tres módulos:
Compañía Residente
Residencias Pedagógicas
Residencias Artísticas:
Residencias Artísticas nace con el objetivo de acoger a
creadores durante cortos periodos de forma que
podamos colaborar al desarrollo de sus creaciones e
invitarles a cuestionarse sobre el sector creativo en las
Artes del Movimiento y sus repercusiones en nuestra
sociedad. A su vez el público de San Sebastián de la
Gomera puede disfrutar del variado panorama
internacional de este fenómeno artístico.
Para llevar a cabo el proyecto, ofrecemos nuestra sede
y también le facilitamos estancia y dietas.
Estamos abiertos a recibir toda propuesta creativa
relacionada con el cuerpo humano. Nuestro criterio de
selección es actuar en relación con la argumentación y
las razones que fundamenten todos los proyectos
presentados.
Actualmente tenemos contactos con promociones de
alumnos de último curso en escuelas superiores y de
grado medio nacional y europeo. Proyectamos
relaciones con artistas de América del Sur y el
continente africano.
Después de 14 años trabajando en diferentes contextos
sociales, culturales y educativos en el CCG, surgen
nuevas necesidades de reflexión que se organizan en
dos ejes principales:

El aspecto cualitativo del producto o hecho
artístico.
La repercusión en la sociedad de este
producto o hecho artístico.
El CCG reflexiona sobre el pasado, el presente y el
devenir de la Cultura, del Arte, de las Expresiones
Artísticas en general y de la Danza y las Artes del
Movimiento en particular.
De la Danza como acto performativo, acto performativo
que realiza el intérprete, performer, ejecutante, bailarín
u otras tantas apelaciones emergentes que nombran y
hacen referencia a este SER-OBJETO-SUJETO
expuesto.Danza como acto performativo que se
muestra al espectador. Espectador pasivo o activo
dependiendo de la propuesta escénica a la que el
creador lleva al espectador. Espectador en un patio de
butacas colocado en la oscuridad y anonimato o
espectador compartiendo un mismo espacio escénico
en el que la jerarquía es casi horizontal y los roles
intérprete-espectador a veces pueden invertirse,
volcarse, mezclarse y hasta incluso dar lugar al
nacimiento de nuevos corpus, entes o especies
extranjeras y mutantes de la tradición que en su
momento Luis XIV dinamizó con los Ballets de Cour.
El Departamento Coreográfico reflexiona en sus tres
módulos,
Residencias
Artísticas,
Residencias
Pedagógicas y Compañía Residente sobre el posible
aspecto tóxico del producto cultural o educativo.¿Cuál
es la aportación que el sector de las artes del
movimiento hace al avance de nuestra sociedad?.El
CCG quiere dinamizar las convicciones de los
creadores, artistas o pedagogos y cuestionar las
convenciones de nuestro sector.

IDENTICALITY
IDENTICALITA
“Our nervous system is built to enable us to
make contact with the nervous system of
other human beings and it allows us to
experience the other as if we were inside
their very skin, giving us the opportunity to
understand their own intentions and to feel in
our own body what they are feeling.”
(Ammaniti, Gallese, 2014).
IDENTICALITY is a dance duo in which
the theme is the study of the relationship
between two people.
The performers are two women, two
dancers, both Italian linked by a similar
dance study path.
The concept of IDENTICALITA‟ is based
on a type of meditation that aims to reach
a perception of the partner and of one‟s
self at the same time; we are dealing with
an impossible task. Indeed, the attempt
by two people, to become the same
image at the same moment can
catastrophically reveal the differences
that always marks us as unique human
beings.
I am deeply interested in the idea of
showing „failure‟ on stage. I find it
intriguing and leading to a potentially
creative state.
I also want to challenge myself by
revealing on stage:
- the tension between two people
attempting to move towards a state of
being identical to the other.
- the achievement of a state of empathy
that leads us towards (audience and
performer) being perceived as the same
person.
- I want to celebrate the phenomena of
the motor circuit as “not anymore mere
controller and generator of movements
and behaviours but as a source of
understanding on a pre-conceptual and
prelinguistic level of the meaning of the
things of the world”.
During this week we developed further
the concept of IDENTICALITA‟.
We experienced how our common past
experiences
of
the
country
of
provenience, Italy, and of the dance
world contribute in the meditation of
IDENTICALITA‟ mentioned above.
We explored the creation of possible
décor
elements
by
manipulating
materials that we find in the environment
we live in.
We selected some set dance material
and deepened in it taking as reference
the physical relationship of being moved
by the other or moving the other with our
movements. As in mythology Narcissus
pulls himself out of his own self in order
to reach the reflection he sees in the
water, we explored the initiation of
movements as moving out of our own
self pulled by the magnetic force deriving
by the other.
VALENTINA CAMPORA
Is born in Genova (IT) in 1979. In 2005 she
graduated at the Modern Dance Department
of the Theaterschool of Amsterdam and in
2009 at D.A.M.S. at the University of
Litterature and Philosophy of Genova, Italy.
She danced and collaborated, with among
others, Erik Kaiel (NL), Jakop Ahlbom (NL),
Cristina Planas Leitao (PT) and Andy Moor
(UK/NL). From 2008 to 2014 she worked with
Gabriella Maiorino (IT/NL), with which she cofounded in 2013 the dance company
CLANCARNAL. She is also developing her
own projects and is an active participant and
collaborator in the Amsterdam music and
dance scene.
ANNA SARA FIERRO
Is born in Benevento (IT) in 1993 and is a
forth year student at ArtEZ Bachelor of dance
in Arnhem (NL). In 2011 she graduated at
Gymnasium Lyceum; from 2009 to 2012 she
studied with MAKTUB noir Company and
attended the professional course at Florence
dance center in Florence (IT). During the
studies
in
ArtEZ
she
danced
in
choreographies by Maurice Causey, Marco
Goecke, Jasper van Luijk, Reut Shemesh and
Itamar Serussi. In 2014 Anna Sara received a
scholarship from Imperium Stichting (NL) to
support her in completing her studies in
Holland and from 2015 until nowadays she is
doing an intership with Krisztina De Chatel
(NL).
