here are a few key things to remember when arranging any
kind of event, however large or small. Pre-planning and
organization are essential, whilst attention to detail and
getting creative with your food, décor, location and entertainment are what will turn your event into a memorable night for all.
Most of all, remember it is meant to be fun, and if you as the host are
enjoying yourself, then your guests will undoubtedly do so too!
Get creative with your guest list. Sometimes hosts can over-think a guest
list, and the reality is a melting pot of interesting characters can make for a
hugely entertaining night!
Select your menu with pre-preparation in mind, and make sure it is something that you are confident cooking and can be presented beautifully. An
assured hostess, who doesn’t spend all night sweating over a hot stove
but instead gliding effortlessly from kitchen to table, equals a hostess with
the mostest! Alternatively you could always really impress by hiring in a
private chef for the evening.
Pre-dinner cocktails are a must to get the party going with a bang. Make

up large jugs of your preferred cocktails and have glistening, pre-chilled
Martini glasses lined up and ready for pouring the second your guests arrive. If you fancy going all-out to impress, you could call in the services of
a couple of gorgeous flair cocktail barmen to provide an extra glamorous
edge.
Setting the mood is crucial. Don’t be afraid to locate the dinner to an
alternative part of your house/garden. If you have a favourite spot in your
garden or a terrace that does not often get used, then why not move your
tables and chairs and have your dinner party there?
Lead your guests through the garden down a bamboo flare-lit pathway
into a beautiful secret location, glowing with floor lanterns and twinkling
tea lights hanging in the surrounding branches. Battery powered LED
lights and fairy lights are also an effective way to light parts of your garden
where there is no direct access to power.
Why not have some fun with entertainment here too? Book a solo guitarist to sit casually playing on a branch as guests approach the table. Your
guests will hear the dulcet sounds as they trail through the garden, and

then add to the element of surprise when they reach their secret location.
Adding dressing and detail, your table creates a magical ambience, and
shows your guests that you have put thought and effort into creating a
memorable evening for them. Don’t be afraid of colour! A beautiful white
cloth can look stunning with a brightly coloured runner and our beautiful
Mediterranean homes are filled with colour, so embrace! Alternatively, use
mirror discs to dress the centre of the table and then place tealights , with
trails of bougainvillea creeping in and out of the flickering lights and their
reflections.
We think it is charming, economical and ecological to use the things we
have at our fingertips to create your own individual set-up. Be it trails of
Bougainvillea and jasmine, or little terracotta pots with lavender, mint
and rosemary, or even silver/gold bowls filled with lemons and oranges.
There are so many stunning ways to dress a table using just a little bit of
imagination. Candlelight is of course key – as everybody looks good in
candlelight!
Party favours are not just for weddings, and party bags are not just for
children! A little detail that is bespoke for each of your guests can go down
a storm. It can be something as simple as a beautifully handwritten and
decorated name card, wrapped in ribbon with an individual flower stem.
You could even write a personalized note on the back of each card telling
that person why they are important to you and why you wanted them to
be a part of your evening. Alternatively, you could source charms for each
of the guests that are relevant to them as individuals, or give each guest
their birthstone to bring them luck.
We could literally talk for days about the perfect event, but believe the key
is to be organized, keep your plans manageable, and get creative - making
sure the evening is a reflection of you. Never be afraid to be different –
originality is memorable. But most importantly of all – have a great time doing it, and make sure you enjoy the evening just as much as your guests do.

DE FANTASÍA PARA 30, TE AYUDAMOS A CREAR UN EVENTO MEMORABLE Y ELEGANTE.
E
xisten varios elementos claves a tener en cuenta a la hora
de organizar cualquier tipo de evento, por muy pequeño o
grande que sea. Es imprescindible planearlo por adelantado
y ser organizado, y la atención al detalle y la creatividad en
cuanto a la cocina, decoración, ubicación y espectáculo harán que tu
evento se convierta en una noche memorable para todos los asistentes.
¡Sobre todo es importante destacar que una fiesta debería ser divertida, y si como anfitrión te lo pasas bien, sin duda también lo harán tus
invitados!
Deja fluir tu creatividad con la lista de invitados. A veces los anfitriones
tienen miedo de invitar a gente que es quizás muy diferente o que todavía
no se conoce entre sí y en realidad ¡cuanto más diferentes las personas a
las que invitas más entretenida resultará la velada para todos!
Selecciona el menú con antelación, y asegúrate de que es algo que cocinas
con confianza y que puedes presentar con esmero. Un perfecto anfitrión
no es el que se pasa la noche en la cocina, si no el que se pasea entre la
mesa y la cocina con tiempo para pararse a charlar con sus invitados. Si
prefieres, siempre puedes impresionar alquilando un chef privado para
que se encargue de la cocina por ti.
Para animar el ambiente empieza la noche con unos cócteles de bienvenida.
Prepara grandes jarras de tus cócteles favoritos y copas de Martini refrigerados listos para servir a tus amigos en seguida que lleguen. Si quieres crear
una gran impresión, siempre puedes contratar los servicios de un par de
‘barmans’ guapos para darle un toque extra de glamour a tu celebración.
Es fundamental ambientar tu fiesta; que no te de miedo ubicarla en un
sitio alternativo de la casa o jardín. Si tienes un lugar favorito en tu jardín o
terraza que no suele usarse, ¿por qué no colocas allí la mesa y celebras la
cena allí?
Ilumina el camino hacia la cena mediante grandes velas de bambú colocadas en el jardín, velitas de té en el suelo o colgando de los árboles. Las
luces LED con pilas y velitas de té son una manera ideal de iluminar zonas
exteriores en las que no hay conexión eléctrica.
¿Y por qué no añadirle un toque divertido con un poco de música en directo? Contrata un guitarrista para que se siente entre los árboles y toque
mientras van llegando tus invitados. El sonido de la guitarra amenizará su

camino hasta la mesa y realzará su sorpresa cuando lleguen al destino.
Para realzar el ambiente mágico todavía más procura vestir la mesa para
que tus invitados vean que te has esforzado en crear una velada inolvidable. ¡No le temas al color! Un mantel blanco con un corredor de color fuerte impresiona muchísimo y nuestras preciosas casas mediterráneas están
llenas de color, ¡así que aprovéchalo! Prueba con colocar discos espejados
en el centro de la mesa colocando velitas de té encima y rodeándolas con
ramas de buganvilla.
Es realmente encantador, económico y ecológico usar cosas de las que ya
disponemos en casa para crear un ambiente muy original. Podría tratarse
de ramos de buganvilla y jazmín, o pequeños cuencos de cerámica con
lavanda, menta y romero, o incluso cuencos plateados llenos de naranjas y
limones. Si usamos un poquito de imaginación descubriremos muchísimas
maneras de vestir la mesa. La luz de las velas es un elemento clave – ¡además favorece a todo el mundo!
¡Los recuerdos o pequeños detalles no son sólo para las bodas, y las bolsas
de regalo no son sólo para los niños! Un pequeño detalle hecho a medida
para cada uno de tus invitados es un toque realmente especial. Puede
tratarse de algo tan simple como una pequeña tarjeta decorada con el
nombre del invitado, envuelto con un lazo y una flor. Hasta podrías escribirle una nota personalizada a cada invitado contándole lo que significa
para ti y porque querías que formase parte de la velada. Otra opción sería
comprar un amuleto para cada invitado que tenga algún significado para
cada uno de ellos, o regalarle a cada uno su piedra de nacimiento para
que les traiga suerte.
Podríamos seguir hablando durante días de cómo organizar el evento
perfecto, pero créeme, la clave es ser organizado, asegurarse de que tus
planes son factibles, y ser creativo – procura que el evento sea un reflejo
de tu personalidad. Atrévete a ser diferente – ¡la originalidad es memorable! Pero sobre todo – diviértete y asegúrate de que disfrutas tanto como
tus invitados.

macht Eindruck.
Cocktails vor dem Dinner sind ein Muss, um die Party mit prickelndem
Knalleffekt zum Laufen zu bekommen. Stellen Sie große Behälter mit Ihren
Lieblings-Cocktails auf und eine Reihe glänzender, gekühlter Martinis –
sofort bereit zum Anstoßen bei Ankunft der Gäste. Wenn Sie um jeden Preis
beeindrucken wollen, könnten Sie zuckersüße Cocktail-Barkeeper anheuern, die am Rande für zusätzlichen Glamour sorgen.
Die richtige Stimmung macht den Unterschied aus. Denken Sie quer: Warum nicht das Abendessen an einem ungewöhnlichen Ort des Hauses oder

keinen direkten Stromanschluss gibt.
