REPRESENT!
We are still greatly behind in the number of volunteer hours reported annually to the
district for our campus. There are many clubs and organizations I have not heard from. I know
you have parents and students who volunteered during 2015. Think of all the games, competitions,
banquet setup, theatre setup, concessions sales times, chaperone duties for trips long or short.
Your submission can be as simple as checking December for the month, 40 hours, and in the
description you can summarize like this, "Volunteer hours for band (etc) during 2015." Did you sort
fundraiser items? Did you work at fundraiser tables? Are you officers or booster reps who attend
meetings? Just give me your best estimate and indicate that it was in 2015 and that will help us
achieve our goal. Travel time is allowed in the number, too. We know you are out there benefiting our students, school, and district. Keep it simple. The form is
super short and takes less than a minute to submit. REPRESENT!
Please submit any unreported volunteer hours for calendar year 2015 to Anna
Braden, Volunteer Services, through the following
link: http://www.berknerpta.org/volunteers.html Deadline for 2015 hours is
February 7, 2016. If you encounter problems with the form, email me directly at
[email protected].
