Gran éxito del AntiRoll en el barco “Santa Maria T” durante las pruebas que se realizaron en Cannes.
Todo sucedió al lado de Córcega, con el barco rumbo al Festival Yachting de Cannes; en los últimos
días, el sistema de estabilización AntiRoll se había instalado en el “Santa Maria T”, un trawler de 37
metros construido por Van der Valk Continental Yachts. Los resultados se notaron en el acto: capitán y
tripulación prestaron atención a sus pies. No a causa de ir rodando de aquí para allá dentro del barco,
sino de puro asombro. El “Santa Maria T” permaneció inmóvil en el agua sólo unos segundos después
de que el sistema de estabilización se había encendido.
The AntiRoll on the ‘Santa Maria T’ boat was declared a success during the test carried out off the coast
of Cannes. It all occurred in the waters of Corsica when the yacht was heading to Cannes to attend the
Yachting Festival. A few days earlier, the AntiRoll, a roll damping system, had been installed on the ‘Santa
Maria T’, a 37 metre trawler built by Van der Valk Continental Yachts. When the stabilization system was
turned on it took the captain and crew on board the ‘Santa Maria T’ just a few seconds to immediately
feel the benefits of the AntiRoll. They stared at their feet in astonishment, the yacht was perfectly stable.

RINA
La Sociedad de clasificación RINA, con sede en Italia, ha lanzado una serie de nuevos
servicios y normas destinadas a ayudar a la creciente industria de yates para progresar
con eficiencia y reducir su huella ambiental. Los cinco nuevos servicios que se proyectaran en el último trimestre de 2015 son una certificación Global de Cumplimiento para
los barcos para demostrar que cumplen con los estándares de Estados Unidos y de la UE,
un conjunto de cursos y una 0certificación para los gerentes de las marinas, interferencia
electromagnética y Evaluación de Riesgos, una nueva certificación de las marinas.

Based in Italy, the classification society RINA has launched a series of new services
and standards meant to help the growing yachting industry to develop efficiently
and reduce environmental impact. The five services presented in the last trimester
of 2015 are: an overall compliance certification for boats to demonstrate that they
comply with USA and EU standards, a series of courses, a certification for marina
managers and electro-magnetic interference and risk assessment certifications for
