Stainless Steel Elevator Door and
Frame Skins
The Association has completed the installation of new stainless steel elevator door skins in
the first and second floor elevator lobbies of both the C and D
buildings.

the beginning of April. The improvements will include an inlet
veranda that will be an extension of
the existing BBQ area, with access
to the garage.

Se han instalado luces LED sobre las parrillas y las áreas de preparación y también
se han sustituido las lámparas en los pabellones por globos con interruptores
que permiten regular la intensidad de la luz para un mejor disfrute de su asado
durante la noche.
Modernización del área de lavado de automóviles
Además de mejorar la iluminación y el drenaje en el área de lavado de automóviles,
se añadirán varios elementos prácticos para su comodidad. Todo estará listo para

la convocatoria para optar por
su beca de periodismo para el
curso
académico
2014-2015.
Los aspirantes deben enviar sus
documentos en o antes de esa fecha.
Esta beca anual de $7,000 para
realizar estudios de periodismo a
nivel de máster en una universidad
de los Estados Unidos fue creada con
el propósito de apoyar el desarrollo
de un periodismo de excelencia en
idioma español. Con esta beca, que
se ofrece desde el 2006, se honra
la memoria del periodista cubano
Carlos M. Castañeda, quien fuera
fundador y primer director de El
Nuevo Día en Puerto Rico y editor
y director de El Nuevo Herald en
Miami, Florida, así como consultor
editorial y de diseño de un sinnúmero
de publicaciones en Norte y Sur
América.

According to Racked National, Bal Harbour Shops-spearheaded Brickell CityCentre and its 520,000 sq. ft. of retail
will attract Neiman Marcus and an Apple Store. The article,
referenced (to be fair) under “Rumermongering”, is admittedly speculative but based on “reliable” sources.
Swire has gained approval from the Miami Building Department for a thousand plus feet tall tower on Brickell Avenue.
This, along with plans for two other thousand feet tall towers,
has sparked a race to the clouds similar to New York City, in
the early 20th century.
According to CBRE’s Marketview Q4 2013:
•The Class A office sector in Brickell has a vacancy rate of
14.8% and there is 128,580 sq. ft. of Class A office space
under construction.
•The Retail sector is seeing a boom in construction in the Brickell market with 615K sq. ft. being added to the mix. Current occupancy is at 97.5% which is the highest in the SOFL market.
