GOAL—To provide parents with information
and guidance related to children with Attention Deficit Disorder with or without
Hyperactivity.

Participants will gain knowledge of IDEA and
Section 504
Participants will learn strategies for building
positive working relationships with school
personnel
Participants will learn about resources available to parents of a child with ADHD
Become aware of current research related to
the ADHD mind and social skills
Learn how the ADHD mind affects social relationships
Learn how empathy and insight cultivates social skills acquisition
To educate parents on the strategies that traffickers use to lure youth with ADHD into
child exploitation
To inform the community of the dangers associated with the internet and social media
Learn what are best practices in medication
management for the treatment of ADHD

Los participantes podrán obtener conocimiento sobre la ley
IDEA y la Sección 504.








Los participantes aprenderán estrategias necesarias para
trabajar y construir una relación positiva con el personal
escolar.
Se aprenderá sobre los recursos disponibles que al momento se ofrecen a Padres de Familias con un hijo con TDAH.
También como debemos estar pendiente de estudios e investigaciones mas recientes sobre el TDAH al tratar habilidades sociales y mentales.
Aprender como el TDAH afecta las relaciones en el aspecto
social y mental.
Aprender cómo la Empatía y la Percepción ayuda a cultivar
las habilidades sociales.
Dar conocimiento a Padres de Familia sobre estrategias
utilizadas por traficantes de niños para así atraer a jóvenes
con TDAH hacia la explotación infantil.
Informar a la comunidad sobre el riesgo y peligro asociado
con el uso del internet y redes sociales.
Aprender cuales son al momento las mejores practicas de
administración al medicar y dar tratamiento para el TDAH.
