MISAS EN ESPAÑOL:
Empiezan las vacaciones!!!

BAUTIZOS:

de cada mes a las 11:00 am.

Para muchos otros la vida es
igual, tal vez la rutina del día
a día, las obligaciones de la
casa o del trabajo.
Cualquiera que sea la situación, siempre es tiempo de
detenernos un poco a ver qué
ha pasado por nuestras vidas,
y la vida de los demás.
En esta primera parte del año,
hemos tenido la oportunidad
de celebrar la vida y de llorar
la muerte. Hemos tenido la
oportunidad de intentar cosas
nuevas y de seguir en el intento. Dios sabe el camino que
tenemos que recorrer y, en
obediencia, seguimos caminando en su nombre.
Nuestra comunidad ha experimentado, esa crisis de crecimiento. En algún momento
Dios nos bendijo con la pre-
sencia de muchos hermanos y
hermanas en nuestra Eucaristía, y en otro momento, Dios
se ha encargado de recordarnos que seguirlo no es sencillo y que es muy fácil que nos
desanimemos, y nuestra comunidad disminuye.
La disminución de número no
ha significado disminución de
fe. Puedo compartir que las
familias que asisten, cada
domingo, me han mostrado el
Rostro de Dios. Me han regalado la experiencia de familia
que muchos dejamos atrás al
emigrar a este país y por eso
le doy gracias a Dios.
Esta reflexión me lleva a recordar las palabras del Papa
Francisco, donde nos dice que
vivir el Evangelio, tiene que
ser con alegría. Cada día le
pido a Dios que seamos una
comunidad viva y que cada
persona que llegue, descubra
que ha llegado a un lugar donde es bienvenido y bienvenida. Dice el Papa Francisco,
ser signo de la acogida de
Dios es “tener templos con las
puertas abiertas en todas par-
tes” para que todos los que
buscan no se encuentren “con
la frialdad de unas puertas
cerradas”. “Tampoco las
puertas de los sacramentos
deberían cerrarse por una
razón cualquiera”, así, la Eucaristía “no es un premio para
los perfectos sino un generoso
remedio y un alimento para
los débiles.
Hermanos y hermanas, los
invito a disfrutar este tiempo,
distinto para unos e igual para
otros, pero siempre con la
novedad de Dios en nuestra
vida.
Que nuestras vidas se llenen
del amor de Dios, que nos
fortalezca en los momentos de
desánimo, que nos de la alegría de su vida nueva y nos inquiete, sobre todo, por aquellos hermanos nuestros que
viven sin la amistad de Jesús.
El Señor te bendiga y te guarde. El Señor te muestre su
rostro y tenga misericordia de
ti. Vuelva el Señor su rostro
hacia ti y te conceda la paz.

Somos parte de la Comunidad Americana Católica. No estamos inscritos en la Diócesis de Dallas, pero eso no quiere decir que no seamos católicos. Somos realmente Católicos: Celebramos los mismos 7 sacramentos, Profesamos la misma fe que
cada domingo se dice en el Credo dentro de la misa.
Nuestra presencia no es para dividir, sino para presentar una opción para aquellos
que busquen una comunidad donde vivir la fe. Es nuestra responsabilidad compartir la gracia que hemos recibido de Dios por lo que TODOS Y TODAS son bienvenidos.
