I have a message from the Lord: Where are your priorities? What is

I have a message from the Lord:
Where are your priorities? What is most important in your life? Who
matter most to you?
Am I first in your life? Is my kingdom most important? Do the lost of
this world matter most to you?
This morning at my instruction my servant waited at his house for a
Verizon repair man to fix the internet. The repairman was late but the
internet is important. It affects his life and work. So he waited. He had
planned to drop some mail off at the post office on the way to church
and even though he was late, he squeezed that errand in. Since he was
already late, a few more minutes wouldn’t matter. Another errand
needed to be taken care of also but he would still make the preaching.
That was the important part right?
I have led my servant to illustrate to you the cost that is inflicted upon
my body when your priorities are askew, when the cares of this world
become more important than my kingdom, when the lost no longer
matter most to you. The confusion that this body experienced because
the pastor was late is the same spiritual confusion that the body is
experiencing because you are late or missing.
When members of my body do not have their priorities correct, knowing
what is most important in their life, and who matter most, the cost to my
body is heavy. Every member matters. Your focus matters. Your
timeliness matters. Your presence matters.
To the guests and visitors that I have drawn here today, do not be
offended or confused by my illustration today. It is for your benefit that I
have provided it.
This world is dark and evil but I am light and truth. But you must
determine your priorities. Is it now that matters most or eternity? Is it
your flesh or the spirit of life that I have given you?
Hebrews 10:25
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but
encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is
drawing near.
This is a message of correction. But I remind you of my encouraging
words:
Hebrews 12:5-11
“My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t give up when he corrects you.
For the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.”
As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you
as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined
by its father? If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children,
it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.
Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn’t we
submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live
forever?
For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they
knew how. But God’s discipline is always good for us, so that we might
share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—
it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living
for those who are trained in this way.
Will you search your hearts and hear my call to you? Every service
matters! Every person matters! You matter! Set straight your priorities,
determine what is most important and who matters most to you!
Tengo un mensaje del Señor:
¿Cúales son tus prioridades? ¿Qué importa más en tu vida? ¿Quién te
importa más?
¿Soy yo primero en tu vida? ¿Es mi reino lo más importante? ¿Los
perdidos de este mundo te imporatan más?
Esta mañana, porque de mis instruciones, mi servidor esperó en su casa
para un hombre de Verizon quien debía arreglar el internet. El hombre
fue tarde, pero el internet es importante para mi servidor. Afecta su vida
y su trabajo. Por eso esperó. Había planeado ir a la oficina de correos
para enviar unas cartas, y aunque llegaría tarde a la iglesia, las envió. Ya
llegaría tarde sin enviarlas, por eso unos minutos más no importarían. Él
necesitaba hacer otro mandado también, pero todavía llegaría para la
predicación. ¿Esa fue la parte más importante, correcto?
Yo he dirigido a mi servidor a hacer estas cosas para ilustrar el costo que
es infligido a mi cuerpo cuando tú no tienes las prioridades correctas, las
preocupaciones de este mundo te importan más que mi reino, y los
peridos no te importan lo más. El desorden que este cuerpo experimentó
porque el pastor llegó tarde es el mismo desorden espiritual que el
cuerpo experimenta porque tú llegas tarde o solo no llegas.
Cuando miembros de mi cuerpo no tienen la prioridades correctas, y no
saben qué es más importante en su vida y quién importa más, el costo
para mi cuerpo es alto. Cada miembro importa. Donde te estás enfocado
importa. Tú llegar a tiempo importa. Tu presencia importa.
A los visitantes que he traido aquí hoy, no estén ofendidos o
confundidos por mi ilustración hoy. Es para su beneficio que la he
proveido hoy.
Este mundo es oscuro y malo, pero yo soy luz y verdad. Pero debes
elegir tus prioridades. ¿Son las cosas de ahora que importan más, o las
cosas de la eternidad? ¿Es tu carne que importa más, o el espíritu de vida
que te he dado?
Hebreos 10:25
no dejando de congregarnos, como algunos tienen por costumbre, sino
exhortándonos; y tanto más, cuanto veis que aquel día se acerca.
Esto es un mensaje de corrección. Pero te recuerdo mis palabras de
aliento:
Hebreos 12:5-11
Hijo mío, no menosprecies la disciplina del Señor,
Ni desmayes cuando eres reprendido por él;
Porque el Señor al que ama, disciplina,
Y azota a todo el que recibe por hijo.
Si soportáis la disciplina, Dios os trata como a hijos; porque ¿qué hijo es
aquel a quien el padre no disciplina?
Pero si se os deja sin disciplina, de la cual todos han sido participantes,
entonces sois bastardos, y no hijos.
Por otra parte, tuvimos a nuestros padres terrenales que nos
disciplinaban, y los venerábamos. ¿Por qué no obedeceremos mucho
mejor al Padre de los espíritus, y viviremos?
Y aquéllos, ciertamente por pocos días nos disciplinaban como a ellos
les parecía, pero éste para lo que nos es provechoso, para que
participemos de su santidad.
Es verdad que ninguna disciplina al presente parece ser causa de gozo,
sino de tristeza; pero después da fruto apacible de justicia a los que en
ella han sido ejercitados.
¿Examinarás tú el corazón y oirás mi llamada para ti? ¡Cada servicio
importa! ¡Cada persona importa! ¡Tú importas! ¡Corrije tus prioridades,
decide qué es lo más importante y quién te importa más!
