We are in the last stretch of the school year! It has gone by so fast! There is a
still lot of learning happening as well as year-end assessments. The third, fourth
and fifth graders are continuing their State CAASPP testing through May 13th.
From May 16th-27th, our second graders will take their MAP tests. We also have
fun year-end activities, too.

Memorial Day
Cook’s Night off- Chuck E. Cheese
The PFO is having a Cook’s Night-Off event at Chuck E. Cheese on Wednesday,
May 11th from 3:00-9:00 pm. Come out and support our school! A part of the
proceeds raised that evening are given to PFO to support our school.
Talent Show
Come join us for the annual Mariposa Talent Show on Friday, May 27th at 6:30 pm
in the multipurpose room.
Fifth Grade Promotion
The fifth grade promotion will be on Wednesday, June 1st at 9:30 am in the
multipurpose room.
Kindergarten Registration is Now Open
Kindergarten registration has begun for the San Juan Unified schools. You can
come by the school office and pick up a packet to fill-out, then take it to San Juan
Central to register or you can go straight to San Juan Central.

The Family Resource Center
It is located in Room 20. Please come by on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to
2:00 pm. There are lots of resources available to you! There are educational
games, children’s books and parenting books to check-out. You can also use our
computer and printer. Christina Wheelock ([email protected]) is
our Parent Liaison and she can help you with what you need.

Estamos en el último tramo del año escolar! Se ha pasado tan rápido! Hay mucho
aprendizaje sucediendo todavía, como evaluaciones de fin de año. El tercero,
cuarto y quinto grado continúan sus pruebas CAASPP Estado a través de 13 de
mayo. A partir de mayo 16 de al 27 nuestros alumnos de segundo grado tomarán
sus pruebas MAP. También tenemos actividades de diversión de fin de año
también.

Noche de Chuck E. Cheese
El PFO está teniendo un evento de “Noche -Off de la cocinera” en Chuck E. Cheese
Miércoles 11 de Mayo a partir de 3: 00 – 9: 00 pm . Venga y apoye a nuestra
escuela! Una parte de los fondos recaudados esa noche se dan a PFO para apoyar
a nuestra escuela.
Concurso de talentos
Venga unirse a nosotros para la Mariposa Talent Show el viernes 27 de mayo a
las 6:30 pm en el salón de usos múltiples.
Promoción de Quinto Grado
La promoción de quinto grado será el miércoles 1 de junio a las 9:30 am en el
salón de usos múltiples.
El registro de Kindergarten está abierto
La inscripción en kindergarten ha comenzado para las escuelas unificadas San
Juan. Puede pasar por la oficina de la escuela y recoger un paquete para llenar de
salida, luego llevarlo a la Central de San Juan para registrar o que pueden ir
directamente a la Central de San Juan.
