Concurso Internacional de Música de Cámara

Se compromete a tramitar las solicitudes
y a proceder a los avisos y noticias necesarias
para comunicar a los profesores que formarán
el jurado y a los grupos inscritos en el Concurso.
Proporcionará información sobre alojamientos
y manutención a los concursantes que así lo
soliciten.
También se compromete a resolver las dudas que surjan en aquellos casos no previstos
en la interpretación de las bases indicadas.
Hará el sorteo para el orden en que intervienen los concursantes el primer día del
concurso.
El resultado del mismo será publicado
en la página web de la Fundación Siglo y del
CCMD y se enviará la notificación a cada
agrupación. La fecha de inscripción finaliza el
6 de marzo de 2015.
It will process the applications and communicate the necessary notifications to the
musicians who will form the jury and the
groups participating in the competition.
It will give information about the accommodation and meals to the contestants that
ask for it.
It also undertakes to resolve any doubts
that may arise in those cases not specified in
the leaflet.
It will draw lots for the order in which the
contestants will participate on the first day of
the competition.
The result of the draw will be posted
on the webpage of the Fundación Siglo and
CCMD and a notification will be sent to each
ensemble. The closing date for registration is
the 6th March 2015.
Cada grupo deberá enviar, exclusivamente por
medios electrónicos, en español o en inglés, la
siguiente documentación:
a) Formulario de solicitud debidamente
cumplimentado (anexo).
b) Currículum artístico de la agrupación
c) Breve currículum del grupo en 150-200
palabras para el programa de mano
d) Una grabación de vídeo, de una duración
máxima de 15 minutos, con una obra o
movimiento del programa presentado.
Podrá enviarse en formato MP4 o facilitar
un link para su escucha en internet.
e) Copia de DNI o Pasaporte de cada
participante.
Every ensemble must send the following documentation, exclusively via e-mail, in
Spanish or English:
a) A completed registration form (attached)
b) The artistic curriculum of the ensemble.
c) A brief curriculum of the ensemble in
150-200 words for the programme.
d)A video recording, no longer than 15
minutes, to include a composition or
movement of the proposed programme. It
can be send in MP4 format or as a link to
listen to on the Internet.
e) A copy of DNI or Passport of each
participant.
La selección, de un máximo de 22 agrupaciones, será realizada por un Comité organizativo
y publicada antes del 13 de marzo de 2015.
Las agrupaciones deberán, en el plazo de
una semana, confirmar su participación y
abonar las tasas de inscripción, enviando el
resguardo justificativo. Estas tasas no serán
devueltas en ningún caso. Importe por agrupación 60 €
Todas las pruebas serán públicas y podrán ser grabadas por los organizadores del
concurso en vídeo y audio. Se reserva, durante y después de su celebración, el derecho de
difusión por radio, televisión, vídeo o cualquier
otro medio de reproducción, de todas y cada
una de las pruebas, incluida la Final y el Concierto de Clausura, sin que ello ocasione retribución alguna o percepción de derechos para
los concursantes.
Los grupos de cámara se comprometen a
conocer y aceptar las presentes bases, quedando a potestad del Comité artístico la interpretación de las mismas en caso de duda.
Una vez iniciado el concurso, será potestad del
Jurado.
The selection, which will comprise a maximum of 22 ensembles, will be decided by an
organizational committee and posted before
13th March 2015.
The ensembles must confirm their participation within a week and pay the registration
fee, sending the corresponding receipt. This
fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. The amount per ensemble is 60€.
All trials will be open to the public and
may be recorded in video or audio by the
competition organizers. The competition organizers reserve the right to broadcast the
trials (including the Final and the Closing Ceremony) on radio, TV or by any other means
during and after the competition, without remuneration of any kind for the contestants.
The chamber music groups commit to accepting these rules, the interpretation of them
remaining in the power of the artistic committee if in doubt. Once the competition has
started, it will remain in the power of the jury.

La puesta en marcha del Primer Concurso internacional de Música de Cámara, cuyo presidente de Honor es el Maestro Jesús López
Cobos, ha sido organizado por el Centro Cultural Miguel Delibes en colaboración con la Fundación Eutherpe. Supone la culminación de la
programación en torno a la música de cámara
del CCMD y la OSCyL, actividad que exige
una alta preparación musical y técnica en
cada uno de los músicos y en su conjunto. La
Consejería de Cultura y Turismo de la Junta
de Castilla y León responde así, de forma concreta, a uno de los objetivos importantes de la
sociedad, como es el fomento de las acciones
de carácter cultural y educativo. Atendemos
con este proyecto a la promoción y formación
de jóvenes generaciones de músicos, ampliando las oportunidades de darles a conocer y difundir el trabajo por medio de conciertos. Éste
será el primer concurso de Música de Cámara
que se celebra en nuestra Comunidad, con la
voluntad de generar un proyecto importante
y continuado para bien de los jóvenes instrumentistas y de todos los ciudadanos, haciendo
especial hincapié en la repercusión nacional e
internacional del mismo.
The begining of the First International
Chamber Music Competition, whose Honorary President is the conductor Jesús López
Cobos, has been organized by the Centro
Cultural Miguel Delibes in collaboration with
the Fundación Eutherpe. This event will be
of the utmost importance in the chamber
music programation of both the CCMD and
the OSCyL, an activity that requires a high
musical and technical training from each
musician and ensemble. The Consejería de
Cultura y Turismo de la Junta de Castilla y
León answers with this, in a specific way, to
one of the most important goals of society
such as the promotion of cultural and educational acts. We attend with this project the
promotion and training of young generations
of musicians, expanding their opportunities of getting to be known and share their
work through concerts. This will be the first
competition of chamber music that will be
hosted in our county, with the hope of creating an important and on going project for the
sake of the young instrumentalists and of all
the public, with special emphasis on the national and international impact of it.

A
La participación está abierta a instrumentistas de cualquier nacionalidad con un límite de
edad de 32 años, contados a fecha de cierre de
la inscripción.
The participation is open to all instrumentalists of any nationality with an upper age limit
of 32, on the closing date for inscription.

Las agrupaciones, con un mínimo de 2 instrumentistas y un máximo de 5, se ajustarán a
una de las dos categorías siguientes:
a) Formaciones de cámara con
instrumentos de arco, con o sin piano
b) Formaciones de cámara con
instrumentos de viento, con o sin piano
c) Formaciones de cámara con
instrumentos de viento y arco, con
o sin piano

El repertorio a presentar consistirá en un programa de una duración máxima de 70 minutos, de libre elección, y que incluirá necesariamente una obra o movimiento, de cada uno de
los bloques siguientes:
a) Barroco-Clásico
b) Romántico-Primera mitad
del s. xx
c) Segunda mitad de s. xx o s. xxi
The ensembles, with a minimum of 2 instrumentalists and a maximum of 5, must fall
into any of these three categories:
a) Chamber groups with string instruments, with or without piano.
b) Chamber groups with wind instruments, with or without piano.
c) Chamber groups with wind and string
instruments, with or without piano.
Todas las obras deben ser originales, no admitiéndose transcripciones que no hayan sido
realizadas por el propio compositor o compositor de referencia.
Each composition must be original, no transcriptions will be admitted that haven’t been
modified by the composer himself.

The repertoire to be presented must consist
of a programme no longer than 70 minutes, of
each group’s choice, and that must include a
composition or movement from any of the following periods:
a) Baroque-Classical
b) Romantic-First half of the 20th
century
c) Second half of the 20th century or
21st century

Al concurso serán admitidas un máximo de
22 agrupaciones, que serán seleccionadas por
el Comité Asesor, una vez examinada la documentación remitida.

A maximum of 22 ensembles will be allowed to
participate in the competition. They will be selected by the Andvisory Committee, after they
have studied the documentation presented.

Los concursantes deberán hacer constar la
duración aproximada de las obras presentadas al concurso.

The ensembles must make known the length of
the compositions submitted for the competition.
Si la actuación de los grupos excediera el
tiempo máximo de cada prueba, el jurado podrá interrumpir la actuación.
If the performance of the ensembles would
exceeds the maximum time of each performance, the jury reserves the right to interrupt the
concert.
El concurso constará de tres pruebas
públicas. Estas pruebas podrán ser grabadas
y/o retransmitidas y se desarrollarán en las
siguientes fases:
a) Primera prueba
• Las agrupaciones interpretarán las
obras o fragmentos que determine
el Jurado. Duración máxima: 30 minutos.
• Al finalizar dicha prueba, el Jurado seleccionará un máximo de 12 agrupaciones que pasarán a la semifinal.
The competition will consist of three public
performances. These may be recorded and/or
broadcasted and they will be carried out in the
following stages:
a) First round
• The ensembles will play the compositions or extracts determined by the
jury. Maximum length: 30 minutes.
• At the end of this stage, the jury will
select a maximum of 12 ensembles,
which will go through to the semifinal.
b) Semifinal
•Las agrupaciones interpretarán las
obras o fragmentos que determine el
Jurado. Duración máxima: 40 minutos.
• Al finalizar la prueba, el Jurado seleccionará un máximo de 6 agrupaciones
que pasarán a la Final.
b) Semi-final
•The ensembles will play the compositions or extracts determined by the jury.
Maximum length: 40 minutes.
• At the end of this stage, the jury will select a maximum of 6 ensembles, which
will go through to the final.
c) Final
•Las agrupaciones interpretarán las
obras que determine el Jurado. Duración máxima: 50 minutos.
•Al finalizar la prueba el jurado se retirará a deliberar y anunciará el resultado final.

jury. Maximum length: 50 minutes.
•At the end of this stage, the jury will
retire to deliberate and will announce
the final result.

2015/2016 season and the presentation of
the winning ensemble in Rome and Brussels
(unconfirmed).
Segundo premio: 6.000 €, Diploma

SECOND PRIZE: 6.000 €. Certificate. A tour
of concert halls in Castilla y León during the
2015/2016.
Tercer premio: 4.000 €, Diploma y

THIRD PRIZE: 4.000 €, Certificate. A tour of
concert halls in Castilla y León during the

Premio especial: A la agrupación castellano-leonesa mejor clasificada con Gira
de Conciertos por Castilla y León.
SPECIAL PRIZE: the highest-scoring ensemble from Castilla y León will win a tour of
the region.
Los semifinalistas recibirán un diploma
acreditativo de su participación en el Primer Concurso internacional de Cámara
Castilla y León 2015.
The semi-finalists will receive a certificate
confirming their participation at the First International Chamber Music Competition of
Castilla y León 2015.
Al finalizar las pruebas se realizará un
Concierto de Clausura en el que se entregarán los premios a los ganadores del
concurso.
At the end of the competition, a closing
concert will take place in which the awards
will be presented to the winners of the competition.
Todos los premios estarán sujetos a
las retenciones que marca la ley.
All the awards are subject to the tax deductions specified by the law.
El jurado se reserva el derecho de declarar desierto cualquiera de los premios.
The jury reserves the right to declare null
and void any of the prizes.
Igualmente podrá conceder “ex aequo” cualquiera de los mismos, repartiéndose en este caso la cuantía del premio a
partes iguales.
In anddition it may give “ex aequo” any of
the prizes, by dividing up in this case the total
of the prize into equal parts.
