Entry fees for residents outside Italy are as follow:

Under no circumstances are the entry fees refundable.
However, the registered athletes who cannot take part to the
marathon can postpone their registration to 2014.

After the start in Stra, the first half of the
race develops in the «Riviera del Brenta»
the beautiful riverside area where rich and noble
Venetians built their vacation mansions in the
18th century.
Then, the marathon goes through the boroughs
of Venice located on the mainland and San
Giuliano Park (the largest urban green area in
Europe), getting to downtown Venice via the 4kilometer-long Liberty Bridge.
Marathoners run next to the Giudecca Canal to
Punta della Dogana, where they cross the
Grand Canal on a pontoon bridge, especially
built for the race.
Running through St. Mark's Square and by the
Clock Tower and the Doge's Palace the
marathon route gets to the finish line located in
Riva Sette Martiri, in a scenic position facing
the lagoon.
Après le départ à Stra, la première partie
du parcours suit la « Riviera del Brenta »,
la zone splendide au bord du Brenta où les riches
et les nobles Vénitiens ont construit leurs maisons
des vacances dans le dix-huitième siècle.
Puis le marathon traverse les arrondissements de
Venice qui se trouvent sur la terre ferme et Parco
San Giuliano (la plus grande zone verte en
Europe) et atteindre Venice en traversant Ponte
della Libertà, un pont long 4km.
Les athlètes courent le long de Canale della
Giudecca jusqu’à Punta della Dogana où ils
traversent Canal Grande grâce à un pont flottant
installé pour la course.
Les marathoniens atteignent l'arrivée près de
Riva Sette Martiri en passant à travers Piazza
San Marco en longeant Palazzo Ducale et la
Torre dell'Orologio.
Der Start befindet sich in Stra und von
hier entwickelt sich die Laufstrecke entlang
die „Riviera del Brenta“, das herrliche
Brentagebiet, wo die Reichen und die Adligen ihre
Urlaubshäuser im 18. Jahrhundert bauten.
Dann geht der Marathon über die Stadtviertel am
Festland von Venedig und durch Parco San
Giuliano (der größte Grünanlage in Europa) und
erreicht Venedig durch die 4 km gerade Brücke:
Ponte della Libertà.
Die Athleten laufen entlang Canale della Giudecca
bis an Punta della Dogana; von hier überqueren
sie Canal Grande durch eine Schwimmbrücke,
die ausdrücklich für den Wettkampf vorbereitet ist.
Die Marathonlaüfer rennen über den
Markusplatz entlang den Dogenpalast und
Glockenturm und erreichen das Ziel in Riva
Sette Martiri, hier sie einen Panoramaausblick
auf die Lagune haben können.
La salida se coloca en Stra, al principio
de la “Riviera del Brenta”, espléndido
lugar a espaldas del canal en el cual los ricos y
los nobles venecianos construyeron sus casas
de vacaciones en el siglo XVIII.
La maratón cruza por los sitios de Venecia
localizados en la tierra firme y Parque San
Giuliano (el más grande de los parques urbanos
de Europa) y llega a Venecia, por el Puente de la
Libertad (un rectílineo casi plano largo poco
menos de 4 quilómetros).
Los atletas corren al lado del Canal de la
Giudecca hasta la Punta de la Dogana, donde
cruzan el Canal Grande sobre un ponte flotante,
construido por la maratón.
Pasando por la Plaza San Marco al lado del
Palacio Ducale y la Torre del Reloj, el trayecto
de la maratón alcanza la línea de llegada situada
en Riva Sette Martiri, en posición panorámica
en frente de la cuenca.

The non competitive run for everyone, marathoners’ children and
families, will take place on Saturday, October 26 on a short course
inside the San Giuliano Park in Venezia Mestre.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
To take part in the race foreign athletes residing
outside Italy have to:
l be member of a foreign Sports Federation affiliated with
IAAF and in this case have to be 20 on the race day and
provide the organizers with a copy of the association
license or
l provide the organizers with a copy of the health form
filled out and signed by their own physician, in this case
athletes have to be 23 on race day and have to add to
the race fee the cost of 7,00 Euros for the FIDAL daily
license.
If foreign athletes are living in Italy they have to provide
the organizers with a copy of the “Certificato Medico per la
pratica agonistica dell’atletica leggera” (which is a special
certificate issued by sports medical centers only in Italy)
and have to add to the race fee the cost of 7,00 Euros for
the FIDAL daily license.
In the event the health form is not provided during the
registration process it must be handed at the bib number
collection, otherwise athletes won't be allowed to
participate.

CONDITIONS DE PARTICIPATION
Les athlètes qui ne résident pas en Italie pour
participer doivent:
l être membre d'une Fédération Sportive étrangère affiliée à
la IAAF et dans ce cas les participants doivent être nés
avant le 27 octobre 1993;
l s'ils ne sont pas membre d'une Fédération Sportive
étrangère affiliée à la IAAF ils doivent être nés avant le 27
octobre 1990, doivent présenter à A.S.D. Venicemarathon
Club une copie du formulaire sanitaire émis par le Comité
Organisateur, rempli et signé par un médecin.
Les athlètes qui résident en Italie pour participer doivent
présenter à A.S.D. Venicemarathon Club une copie du
formulaire sanitaire spécial “Certificato Medico per la pratica
agonistica dell’atletica leggera” émis par les centres de
médicine sportive Italienne et payer in addition 7 Euros pour
la licence journalière à la FIDAL.
Dans le cas où les athlètes ne transmettent pas ce formulaire
pendant la procédure de registration, ils devront le remettre à
le retrait du dossard. Autrement ils ne pourront pas participer.

TEILNAHMEBEDINGUNGEN
Für Teilnehmer aus dem Ausland gelten die folgenden
Bedingungen:
l bis zum Datum des Halb-Marathonlaufs das 20. Lebensjahr
vollendet haben, wenn sie Mitglied in einem Sportverein
sein, der der IAAF angeschlossen ist (Beleg der
Mitgliedschaft ist vorzulegen).
l Wenn sie nicht Mitglied eines Sportvereins sind, der der
IAAF angeschlossen ist, müssen sie das 23. Lebensjahr bis
zum Datum des Halb-Marathonlaufs vollendet haben, ein
Gesundheitszeugnis des Hausarztes vorweisen.
Falls die ausländischen Athleten in Italien leben, müssen Sie
bis zum Datum des Halb-Marathonlaufs das 23. Lebensjahr
vollendet haben, beim Einschreiben oder bei der Übernahme
der Startnummer eine Kopie des Gesundheitszeugnisses (ein
besonderes Zertifikat, welches von den medizinischen
Sportzentren in Italien erstellt wurde) und 7 € für die
Tagesmitgliedschaft in der Fidal zahlen.
Wenn Läufer kein Attest mit dem Anmeldeformular oder bei
der Abholung des Starnummern vorlegen können, können sie
leider nicht teilnehmen.

Bankgutschrift bezahlen. Das Formular kann unter

REQUISITOS DE PARTICIPACION
Para participar los atletas extranjeros:
l deben estar federados en una Federación deportiva
afiliada a la IAAF y haber cumplido 20 años antes de la
fecha de la competición.
l o deben enviar una copia del certificado médico firmado
por su médico y haber cumplido 23 años antes de la
fecha de la competición.
Los atletas extranjeros que viven en Italia deben enviar
una copia del certificado médico “Certificato medico per la
pratica agonistica dell'atletica leggera” firmado por un
centro de medicina deportiva en Italia, haber cumplido 23
años antes de la fecha de la competicióny añadir a la
cuota de inscripción 7 euros por la afiliación a la FIDAL en
el día del maratón
Si el certificado médico no ha sido enviado durante el
proceso de inscripción, se podrá entregar cuando se recoja
el dorsal en la feria. No se entregará ningún dorsal si no se
presenta previamente el certificado médico.
