HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE is unused or leftover portions
of products containing toxic chemicals used to maintain your
residence. Products labeled Caution, W arning, Danger, P oison,
Toxic, Flam m able or Corrosive are considered hazardous.
TRANSPORTATION
REQUIREMENTS
OF
HOUSEHOLD
HAZARDOUS WASTE: Leave products in the existing container, if
possible. Make sure lids are on tight so containers will not leak.
Transport containers in the trunk or in the back of the vehicle away
from passengers and pets. Do not transport over 15 gallons or 125
pounds at one time. Containers used for transport must be no larger
than a 5-gallon bucket. Please tape household battery terminals.
WE CAN NOT ACCEPT… Business waste, tires, ammunition,
explosive and radioactive materials, medication, air conditioners or
large appliances!
Home generated “sharps” including syringes and lancets
will be collected during this event. Please transport in
closed rigid containers.

LOS DESECHOS TÓXICOS DEL HOGAR SON:
Los productos que tenga en casa que ya no necesite y que tengan
impresas en su etiqueta una de las siguientes advertencias:
DANGER (Peligro), WARNING (Advertencia), CAUTION
(Precaución), POISON (Veneno), TOXIC (Tóxico),
FLAMMABLE (inflamable) o CORROSIVE (Corrosivo).
TRANSPORTE LEGAL: Deje los productos en los envases
originales, con las tapas bien cerradas para que no se derramen.
No los mezcle. Ponga los envases en la cajuela de su automóvil
o en la parte de atrás para que los pasajeros no estén en contacto
con los productos. Puede traer hasta 15 galones o 125 libras de
residuos peligrosos a la vez. Los envases que se usen para
transportar los residuos no deben ser más grandes de 5 galones.
NO ACEPTAREMOS LOS SIGUIENTES MATERIALES:
Residuos Comerciales (residuos generados en negocios), Llantas,
Aparatos Electrodomésticos, Pastillas/Medicinas, Explosivos (como
las municiones), o Materiales Radioactivos.
Aceptaremos agujas hipodérmicas, jeringas y lancetas si las
trae en recipientes rígidos y cerrados.
