Teacher Appreciation Week
Dear Parents,
Teacher Appreciation Week, the week of May 12-16th, is a time to celebrate and honor the education,
dedication and love that everyone of our teachers share with your children each day. Attached you
will find a Teacher Appreciation sheet. Please take a few moments to write something special about
your child’s teacher and return them to the front desk by Friday, May 9th, so we can display them in
the Multipurpose Room for our wonderful teachers to enjoy!
This year we have events planned everyday to help celebrate your child’s teacher, who has made a
difference for you or your child.
Monday, May 12th- Build a Bouquet
Bring a flower to your teacher day. Vases will be placed in each Teacher’s Room.
Tuesday, May 13th- It Only Takes a Card
It only takes a card with a few special words to show your teacher how much they are appreciated!
So encourage your child to write and deliver a special card to their teacher.
Wednesday, May 14th- A Tisket, A Tasket, help build a Teacher Survival Basket
Bring in something to help build a teacher survival basket. From stickers, markers, fancy scissors,
anything you can think of that will brighten a teacher’s day! Baskets will be placed in each Teacher’s
Room.
Thursday, May 15th- A Gift from the Heart
Homemade gifts from the heart are sure to make your teacher smile. From a child drawn picture to a
special snap shot. Be creative!
Friday, May 16th- Anything goes Friday
Celebrate your teacher in anyway you would like. Make a banner, bring in a breakfast treat, piece of
fruit, etc. Talk to your child- they’re sure to have a great idea to make their teacher smile!
Semana de Apreciación de Maestros
Queridos Padres,
Durante la Semana de Apreciación de Maestros, del 12 al 16 de Mayo, estaremos celebrando y
honorando la educación, dedicación y el cariño que todos nuestros maestros comparten con nuestros
hijos diariamente. Adjunto, encontrara una hoja de Apreciación de Maestros. ¡Por favor tome unos
momentos para escribir algo especial sobre el maestro de su hijo(a) y devuélvala a la oficina de la
escuela mas tardar el día Viernes, 9 de Mayo, para exhibirlos en el Salón Multi-Propósito donde
nuestros maravillosos maestros podrán disfrutarlos!
Este año, tenemos preparado algunos eventos para cada día de esta semana especial para ayudar a
festejar al maestro de su hijo(a), que ha hecho alguna diferencia en la educación de su hijo(a).
Lunes, 12 de Mayo – Construyamos Un Ramo
Traiga una flor para su maestro cada día. Floreros serán colocados en cada salón de los Maestros.
Martes, 13 de Mayo – Con una Carta Es Suficiente
¡Una carta y unas palabras especiales serán suficientes para demostrarle a su maestro cuanto es
apreciado! Motive a su hijo(a) a escribir y enviar una carta especial a su maestro.
Miércoles, 14 de Mayo – ¡Auxilio! ¡Socorro! ¡Denle Una Canasta de Sobre-Vivencia al Maestro!
Traiga algo para ayudar a construir una canasta de sobre-vivencia para su maestro. ¡Desde
calcomanías, marcadores, tijeras elegantes a cualquier tipo de cosas que puedan alegrarle el día al
maestro! Canastas serán colocadas en cada salón de los maestros.
Jueves, 15 de Mayo – Un regalo del Corazón
Regalitos caseros hechos con amor del corazón sin duda harán sonreír a su maestro. Desde un dibujito
pintado por su hijo(a) a una fotografiá especial. ¡Sea Creativo!
Viernes, 16 de Mayo – Festeje A Su Manera
Festeje a su maestro de cualquier manera que guste. Haga una bandera, traiga un antojito de
desayuno o fruta, etc. ¡Platique con su hijo(a) - que el/ella seguramente tendrá alguna buena idea para
hacer sonreír a su maestro!
