Mass Intentions
The custom of requesting a priest to offer the Mass
for a specific intention, even when one cannot be
physically present at the Mass, is a longstanding
tradition in the Church.
This is because the Church considers the Mass as
the greatest possible prayer of intercession insofar
as it is the perfect offering of Christ to the Father
by making present the paschal mystery of his death
and resurrection.
You may request a Mass Intention by visiting the
Cathedral Center Office. Mass Intentions are
posted in the Parish Bulletin, and on our website:
www.thecathedralofstmary.org
CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF THE CLERGY
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
First Friday.
From 10am-12pm
The Chapel is located inside the
parish office building.
Jesus is home, come and visit Him!
"Tithing" is giving back to God the first
and best 10% of all we receive. That
means each and every Sunday we
should offer 5% of our weekly income
for needs of The Cathedral through our
envelopes. The Bible speaks clearly on
the command to tithe as a sign of belonging to God and a response to God's Generosity to us.
1-2% of our annual income should be offered through
ABCD starting each January. The other 2-4% of our
resources may be given to other worthy charities our
charitable causes. It's good to make a budget and
bring our Faith to the calculation. 10% is a real number.
Sa vle di chak Dimanch youn apre lot nou ta dwe ofri 5 %
nan lajan nou antre chak semèn epi bay li nan anvlop pou
ye ak kom yon repons ou bay Jenerozite Bondye gen pou
nou an.
1-2% nan sa nou antre nan yon ane nou ta dwe ofri li
bay ABCD ki komanse chak mwa Janvye. Lot 2-4% nan
charite ki merite nou lonje men ba yo. Li ta bon nou fè
yon bidjè dekwa poun mete Lafwa nou nan fè kalkil.
10% se yon chif tout bon.

EXALTATION OF THE CROSS
O God, who willed that your
Only Begotten Son should undergo the Cross to save the human race, grant, we pray, that we, who have
known his mystery on earth, may merit the
grace of his redemption in heaven. Through
our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives
and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
