une vasoconstriction des capillaires sanguins.
Antispasmodique : le froid réduit le spasme et la contracture musculaire.

précautions D’EMPLOI
Ne pas avaler. Conserver hors de la portée des enfants. En cas d’ingestion, consulter immédiatement un médecin.
Si trop froid, attendre quelques instants avant application.
Avant utilisation, vérifier l’intégrité de l’emballage garantissant la stérilité.
Si, lors de l’ouverture du carton, une compresse est déjà gonflée (= poche d’eau abîmée lors du transport d’où
une probable mauvaise répartition de l’eau dans la compresse), cette compresse doit être jetée sans être utilisée.
CONSERVATION
Avant activation : ALKANTIS doit être conservé au sec à une température entre 5 et 30° C et à l’abri de la lumière.
Après activation : ALKANTIS doit être stocké au congélateur dans son emballage stérile
Ne pas dépasser la date limite d’utilisation figurant sur le conditionnement extérieur.
CONSEILS D’UTILISATION
Appliquer ALKANTIS dès l’apparition ou le réveil de la douleur.
ALKANTIS peut être utilisé directement sur le pansement au bloc opératoire pour une prise en charge immédiate
de la douleur.
MODE D’EMPLOI Simple et rapide en 4 étapes
ALKANTIS NE DOIT PAS ÊTRE OUVERT AVANT D’ÊTRE ACTIONNÉ
1. Rompre le sachet d’eau avec la main.
2. Bien répartir l’eau sur toute la surface de la compresse. Attendre 2 minutes.
La compresse absorbe toute l’eau et devient blanche. Il est important de maintenir ALKANTIS à plat durant
cette 2ème étape.
3. Placer sans ouvrir ALKANTIS au congélateur pendant 90 minutes minimum avant utilisation.
ALKANTIS peut être préparé à l’avance et stocké au congélateur plusieurs jours.
4. Sortir ALKANTIS du congélateur et de son emballage. Appliquer immédiatement sur la zone à traiter.

EFFECTS OF THE COMPRESS
Analgesic: cold soothes the pain.

Haemostatic: cold reduces bleeding of the damaged muscle fibres because it induces vasoconstriction of the
blood capillaries.
Antispasmodic: cold reduces muscle spasm and cramp.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Allergy to cold.
Raynaud’s Syndrome.
Cryoglobulinaemia.
Do not leave on a wound for more than 2 hours.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children. Seek medical advice immediately if swallowed
If too cold, wait a moment before applying.
Before use, check the integrity of the packaging that guarantees sterility.
If, after opening the box, a compress has already expanded (= water pouch damaged during transport,
resulting in probable incorrect distribution of water in the compress), this compress must be discarded without
being used.
STORAGE
Before activation: ALKANTIS must be stored in a dry and dark place at a temperature of 5 to 30°C
and away from light.
After activation: ALKANTIS should be stored in a freezer in its sterile packaging
Do not exceed the use by date on the external packaging.
ADVICE REGARDING USE
Apply ALKANTIS as soon as pain starts.
ALKANTIS can be used directly on the dressing in the operating room, allowing immediate treatment
of the pain.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Fast and simple in 4 stages
ALKANTIS MUST NOT BE OPENED BEFORE BEING ACTIVATED
1. Break open the water sachet using your hands.
2. Distribute the water evenly over the whole surface of the compress.
Wait for 2 minutes. The compress absorbs all the water and turns white.
It is important to keep ALKANTIS flat during this 2nd stage.
3. Without opening, place ALKANTIS in the freezer for a minimum of 90 minutes before use.
ALKANTIS can be prepared in advance and stored in the freezer for several days.
4. Remove ALKANTIS from the freezer and from its packaging.
Apply immediately on the area to be treated.

dei capillari sanguigni

PRECAUZIONI
Non inghiottire Conservare fuori dalla portata e dalla vista dei bambini. In caso d’ingestione,
consultare immediatamente un medico. Non lasciare più di 2 ore su una ferita.
Se troppo freddo, attendere qualche istante prima dell’applicazione.
Prima dell’utilizzo, verificare l’integrità dell’imballaggio che ne garantisce la sterilità.
Se, al momento dell’apertura della scatola, una compressa dovesse essere già gonfia (= tasca d’acqua rovinata
dal trasporto con conseguente probabilità di cattiva distribuzione dell’acqua nella compressa), questa compressa
deve essere gettata senza essere utilizzata.
CONSERVAZIONE
Prima dell’attivazione: ALKANTIS deve essere conservata ad una temperatura compresa fra 5 e 30° C
al riparo dalla luce.
Dopo l’attivazione: ALKANTIS deve essere conservata in congelatore nel suo imballaggio sterile
Non superare la data limite d’impiego riportata sull’involucro esterno.
CONSIGLI PER L’IMPIEGO
Applicare ALKANTIS alla comparsa del dolore.
ALKANTIS può essere utilizzato direttamente sulla medicazione sin dal blocco operatorio per una gestione
immediata del dolore.
ISTRUZIONI Semplici e rapide in 4 fasi
ALKANTIS NON DEVE ESSERE APERTA PRIMA DI ESSERE ATTIVATA
1. Rompere il sacchetto d’acqua con la mano.
2. Ripartire l’acqua in maniera uniforme su tutta la superficie della compressa.
Attendere 2 minuti: La compressa assorbe tutta l’acqua e diventa bianca.
E’ importante mantenere ALKANTIS in posizione orizzontale durante questa seconda fase.
3. Senza aprirla, riporre ALKANTIS nel congelatore per almeno 90 minuti prima del suo utilizzo.
ALKANTIS può essere preparata in anticipo e conservata in congelatore per diversi giorni.
4. Estrarre ALKANTIS dal congelatore e dal suo imballaggio. Applicare immediatamente sulla zona da trattare.

daí uma provável má repartição da água na compressa), esta compressa deve ser deitada fora sem ser utilizada.
CONSERVAÇÃO
Antes da activação: ALKANTIS deve ser conservado num local seco a uma temperatura entre 5 e 30 °C
e ao abrigo da luz.
Após a activação: ALKANTIS deve ser guardada no congelador na sua embalagem estéril.
Não ultrapasse a data limite de utilização apresentada no acondicionamento exterior.
CONSELHOS DE UTILIZAÇÃO
Aplique ALKANTIS logo após o aparecimento ou reaparecimento da dor.
ALKANTIS pode ser utilizada directamente por cima do penso no bloco operatório, para um remediar imediato
da dor.

PRECAUCIONES DE USO
No tragar. Conservar fuera del alcance de los niños. En caso de ingestión, consultar inmediatamente con
un médico.
En caso de que esté muy fría, esperar unos instantes antes de aplicar.
Antes de su utilización, compruebe que la envoltura esté en perfectas condiciones para garantizar la esterilidad
del producto.
Si cuando se saque del envoltorio, la compresa ya está hinchada (= bolsa de agua deteriorada por el transporte
con una mala repartición del agua en la compresa), esta debe tirarse sin ser utilizada.
CONSERVACIÓN
Antes de activarla: ALKANTIS debe conservarse en un lugar seco protegido de la luz, entre 5 y 30° C
y protegido de la luz.
Tras la activación: ALKANTIS se debe conservar en el congelador dentro de su envoltura estéril
No sobrepasar la fecha de caducidad que figura en el envase exterior.
CONSEJOS DE UTILIZACIÓN
Aplicar ALKANTIS en cuanto aparezca el dolor.
ALKANTIS puede utilizarse directamente sobre el apósito en el quirófano para tratar inmediatamente el dolor.
MODO DE EMPLEO Simple y rápido en 4 etapas
ALKANTIS NO DEBE ABRIRSE ANTES DE ACTIVARSE
1. Presione la bolsa de agua con la mano.
2. Repartir el agua por toda la superficie de la compresa. Esperar 2 minutos. La compresa absorbe toda el agua y
se vuelve blanca. Es importante que ALKANTIS permanezca en posición horizontal durante esta 2ª etapa.
3. Sin abrir, colocar ALKANTIS en el congelador durante 90 minutos como mínimo antes de su uso.
ALKANTIS puede preparase con antelación y conservarse en el congelador durante varios días.
4. Sacar ALKANTIS del congelador y de su envoltura. Aplicar inmediatamente en la zona dañada.

VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN FÜR DIE ANWENDUNG
Nicht verschlucken. Außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Bei Verschlucken unverzüglich einen Arzt aufsuchen.
Wenn die Kompresse zu kalt ist, einige Minuten warten, bevor sie appliziert wird.
Um die Sterilität zu garantieren, vergewissern Sie bitte vor dem Gebrauch, dass die Verpackung intakt ist.
Wenn beim Öffnen des Kartons eine Kompresse bereits aufgequollen ist (= Beschädigung eines Wasserbeutels
während des Transports und damit wahrscheinlich eine falsche Verteilung des Wassers in der Kompresse), muss

ALKANTIS DARF VOR DER AKTIVIERUNG NICHT GEÖFFNET WERDEN
1. Den Wasserbeutel mit der Hand zerbrechen.
2. Das Wasser gut auf der gesamten Oberfläche der Kompresse verteilen.
2 Minuten warten. Die Kompresse absorbiert das gesamte Wasser und wird weiß.
Es ist wichtig, dass ALKANTIS bei diesem 2. Schritt auf einer ebenen Fläche verbleibt.
3. ALKANTIS vor der Verwendung ohne Öffnen für 90 Minuten in den Tiefkühlschrank legen.
ALKANTIS kann im Voraus vorbereitet und mehrere Tage im Tiefkühlschrank gelagert werden.
4. ALKANTIS aus dem Tiefkühlschrank nehmen und ihre Verpackung öffnen.

VOORZICHTIGHEID BIJ GEBRUIK
Niet inslikken. Buiten bereik van kinderen houden. In geval van inslikken, onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen.
Indien te koud, wacht enkele minuten alvorens aan te brengen.
Vóór gebruik, controleert de integriteit van de verpakking garanderen de onvruchtbaarheida.
Indien bij het openen van de doos, een kompres al opgezwollen is (= zak water tijdens het transport beschadigd
dus waarschijnlijk een verkeerde allocatie van water in het compres) dient het compres te worden weggegooid,
zonder te worden gebruikt.
BEWARING
Voor activering: ALKANTIS moet in een droge omgeving, buiten direct zonlicht en bij een temperatuur tussen
5° en 30° C bewaard worden.
Na activering ALKANTIS moet worden opgeslagen in een vriezer in een steriele verpakking.
Niet gebruiken na zijn vervaldatum die staat vermeld op de verpakking.
RAADGEVING BIJ GEBRUIK
ALKANTIS toepassen bij het begin of het onstaan van de pijn.
ALKANTIS kan direct op de operatietafel worden gebruikt voor de onmiddellijke behandeling van pijn.
GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING In 4 stappen simpel en eenvoudig
ALKANTIS mag niet worden geopend VOORDAT het geactiveerd is
1. Breek het zakje water met de hand.
2. Verdeel het water gelijkmatig over het oppervlak van het compres.
Wacht 2 minuten. Het compres absorbeert al het water en wordt wit.
Het is belangrijk om tijdens deze tweede stap ALKANTIS vlak te houden.
3. Plaats ALKANTIS zonder het te openen in de vriezer gedurende minimaal 90 minuten voor gebruik. ALKANTIS
kan worden bereid op voorhand en opgeslagen in de vriezer voor meerdere dagen.
4. Haal ALKANTIS uit de vriezer en de verpakking. Onmiddellijk toepassen op het te behandelen gebied.
