The mission of the IHCC is to promote, develop, and assist Hispanic-owned businesses to succeed locally and globally.
Our purpose is to foster an appreciation of the importance of Hispanic businesses and their concerns. We are working to
promote Hispanic business development through economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the income
potential of businesses in Idaho.
La misión de La Camara de Comercio Hispana en Idaho es promover, desarrollar, y asistir negocios con Dueños-Latinos
en tener excito. Nuestro propósito es fomentar una apreciación de la importancia de negocios Hispanos y sus

About Us / Sobre Nosotros
With the official kickoff event taking place on June 19th, 2007, the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC)
launched a new era in the state of Idaho. The increasing Hispanic population has made a significantly greater impact on
the state's economic picture. The influence of Latinos by way purchasing power and the establishment of a great number
of new Latino-owned businesses prompted the creation of our organization.
The IHCC is a non-profit organization primarily focused on the needs of the Hispanic business community for the good of
all business in Idaho. IHCC is a network of Latino businesses, professional organizations and corporations working
together to expand business opportunities in Idaho. We serve as advocates for Latino owned businesses regarding
economic and legislative issues that affect us economically.
Con el evento oficial de apertura tomando lugar el 19 de Junio, 2007, la Camara de Comercio Hispana en Idaho (IHCC)
lanzo una nueva era en el Estado de Idaho. El incremento de la población Hispana ha hecho un impacto más
significativo en la economía del Estado. La influencia de Latinos en poder de compra y el establecimiento de cantidades

The Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has been recognized for its hard work with the community. In 2008, IHCC
was awarded the “Best National Small Chamber of the Year” and the “Small Chamber of the Year: Region 1” award. Our
events calendar consists of many great events such as luncheons, 'Contactos', and workshops.
Your membership is a true voucher for premier networking venues. IHCC brings together corporate executives, public
officials, chamber leaders and entrepreneurs seeking to establish strategic, long-lasting partnerships with America's
Hispanic business community.
This year we have had very successful turnouts with our events and have been able to serve the community by
presenting exceptionally informative workshops and trainings apart from the networking opportunities which provide your
business with recognition and publicity. We are committed to developing our membership as well as our leadership with
the help of the Department of Labor and META (Micro Enterprise Training and Assistance). IHCC can help you with the
ability to lend short term micro-loans to both new and upcoming businesses as well as established businesses.
La Camara de Comercio Hispana en Idaho ha sido reconocido por su esfuerzo con la comunidad. En el 2008, IHCC fue
otorgado la "Mejor Camara Pequeña del Año en la Nación" y la "Camara Pequeña del Año: Región 1". Nuestro
calendario de eventos consiste de varios eventos, como almuerzos, 'Contactos', y talleres. Su afiliación es en verdad un
resguardo para lugares premisos para relacionarse. IHCC junta ejecutivos de corporaciones, oficiales públicos, líderes
de la cámara y empresarios buscando establecer estratégicamente, asociaciones de largo plazo con la comunidad de

Did you know...
Idaho has had 8,741 new filings for businesses from January to April 2015. That is an increase of 35 percent from
2014 (Idaho Secretary of State, Commercial Division, 2015).
Being a Chamber member tells customers and potential customers that you have made an investment in your
community and are trustworthy, involved in the community and are an industry leader (American Business
Magazine, 2015).
The impact of local chamber membership on businesses is very powerful. If a consumer knows a business is a
member of its local chamber, the business enjoys a 44 percent increase in its consumer favorability rating, a 51
percent increase in consumer awareness, a 57 percent increase in its local reputation and a 63 percent increase in
the likelihood that consumers will patronize the business in the future (The Shapiro Group, Inc. and Market Street
Services, 2013).
Currently 24.5 percent of the Hispanic population is living in Canyon County, 42.2 percent in Clark, and 33.5
percent in Jerome (Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs).
The Latino share of Idaho’s population grew from 5.3% in 1990, 8 to 7.9% in 2000, 9 to 11.8% (or 190,250 people)
in 2013. The 2014 purchasing power of Latinos in Idaho totaled $3.34 billion—an increase of 9,756% since 1990.
As the economy continues to grow, Idaho can ill-afford to alienate such an important component of its
labor force, tax base, and business community (American Immigration Council, April 2015).

Voting is both a right and
a responsibility as a
Chamber member. We
must work to ensure that
our electoral process is
conducted accordingly and
those who are promising
to serve receive our support. It is our responsibility to protect the process
itself, and that does not
happen by withdrawing
our participation. No matter how justified one may
feel for not engaging
in the process, when
we tell ourselves
that our vote doesn't
matter, the unconscious message being conveyed is
"I don't matter." As
a Chamber representative and member, I
can state without a doubt,
YOU DO MATTER. Vote

the Mission and Vision we

The IRS will no longer stock Forms W-2, W-3
and 1099 in Taxpayer Assistance Centers.
The demand for paper tax products is declining because of an increase in e-filing and the
availability of products online. Get your
BLANK forms today; those used by small business owners and small tax preparation firms,
can be ordered online or by telephone and
mailed directly to the taxpayer’s home or business address.
To order online, go to the IRS’ Online Ordering
for Information Returns and Employer Returns
(see link below). To order by phone, call the
IRS at: 1-800-829-3676.
The Social Security Administration also offers
an online option to create and file electronic
Forms W-2. File Forms W-2/W-2c and W-3/W3c electronically by visiting the Social Security
Administration’s Employer Reporting Instructions and Information website (see below).
