Research Interest My research is focus in the study of primary mechanisms associated with modulation of immune response. Particularly, I have been studied those related to the generation of immune danger signals produced during virus infection or tumor progression. Different danger signals have been studied like the expression and release of heat shock proteins and extracellular vesicles production (exosomes or apoptotic bodies). I have been characterized these different extracellular vesicles throughout proteomics approximation. Actually, I am studying different kind of tumor cellular stress that could be associated with autophagy during cellular death, seeking for different danger signals which would finally produce or improve the quality of the immune response against tumor. Cell biology techniques like confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, ELISA or western blot are used to search such mechanisms.
