Kurzbeschreibung
Der Delock PCMCIA Adapter, Card Bus zu USB 2.0 erweitert Ihr
Notebook um vier USB 2.0 Ports. Sie können an den Adapter
verschiedene USB 2.0 Geräte wie z.B. Digitalkameras, Drucker,
Scanner, Tastaturen, Mäuse, Lautsprecher, Modems, MP3 Player,
Card Reader, etc. anschließen.

Hinweis:
USB 1.1 Geräte bleiben auf die Datenübertragungsgeschwindigkeiten von USB 1.1 begrenzt, selbst wenn sie an USB 2.0 angeschlossen
werden.

Hardware Installation
Hinweis: Folgen Sie den hier anschließenden allgemeinen Anweisungen zur Installation des Adapters. Bei Bedarf lesen Sie bitte in
Ihrem Computerhandbuch nach oder wenden Sie sich an einen
Fachmann.
1. Stecken Sie den PCMCIA Adapter in den PCMCIA (Card Bus) Slot
1. des Notebooks.
Treiber Installation
Windows XP/2000
1. Nach dem Einbau der Karte starten Sie Windows. Der Hardware1. assistent meldet, dass eine "Neue Hardware gefunden" wurde.
1. Der Treiber wird automatisch gefunden und installiert.
Windows 98/98SE/ME
1. Nach dem Einbau der Karte starten Sie Windows. Der Hardware1. assistent meldet, dass eine "Neue Hardware gefunden" wurde.
2. Klicken Sie im Hardwareassistenten auf "Weiter".
3. Im neuen Fenster markieren Sie die Zeile "Software automa1. tisch installieren (empfohlen)" und klicken Sie auf "Weiter".
4. Legen Sie die Treiber CD in Ihr Laufwerk und wählen Sie die Option
1. CD-Laufwerk "Durchsuchen". Suchen Sie auf der CD den Ordner
1. "NEC". Der Treiber wird ausgewählt. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl
1. mit "Weiter".
5. Nachdem der Treiber installiert wurde, klicken Sie "Weiter" und
1. "Fertig stellen", um die Installation abzuschließen.

Hinweis
Sie können den Treiber auch auf folgende Art installieren, wenn z.B.
unter Win XP der Treiber nicht automatisch gefunden wurde. Dazu
legen Sie die CD in Ihr Laufwerk und öffnen Sie die Ordner "NEC".
Führen Sie Datei "Setup.exe" für Ihr Betriebssystem aus. Der Treiber
wird installiert.

Description
The Delock PCMCIA adapter, Card Bus zu USB 2.0 expands your
notebook by four USB 2.0 ports. You can connect USB 2.0 devices like
digital camera, printer, scanner, keyboard, mouse, speakers, modem,
MP3 player, card reader, etc. to the adapter.

Note:
USB 1.1 devices are limited to the data transfer rate of USB 1.1, even

1. Start Windows after you install the card. The Hardware Wizard will
1. announce that "New Hardware was found". The driver is found
1. and installed automatically.
Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000

1. found and installed automatically.
2. Click on "Next".
3. Highlight the line "Install the software automatically
1. (Recommended)" in the new window, and click on "Next".
4. Insert the driver CD into the drive, and select the option to
1. "Browse" the CD drive. Locate the folder "NEC" on the CD.
1. The driver is selected. Confirm the choice by clicking on "Next".
5. After installation of the driver click on "Next" and on "Finish", to
1. bring the installation to an end.

Note
Also, you may install the driver by using following method, when, for
example, Windows XP did not find the driver automatically. To do so,
insert the CD in its drive, and open the folder "NEC". Execute the
"Setup.exe" file. The driver will be installed.

Hardware Installation
Note:

1. Insérez l’adaptateur PCMCIA sur l’emplacement PCMCIA de votre

Installation du pilote
Windows XP
1. Démarrez Windows après avoir installé la carte. L'Assistant d'ajout
1. de matériel annonce qu' "un nouveau matériel a été détecté".
1. Le pilote est trouvé est installé automatiquement.
Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000

2. Cliquez sur "Suivant".
3. Sélectez la ligne "Installez le logiciel automatiquement (Re1. commandé)" dans la nouvelle fenêtre, et cliquez sur "Suivant".
4. Insérez le CD pilote dans le lecteur, et sélectionnez l'option
1. "Parcourir" pour le lecteur de CD. Repérez le dossier "NEC" du CD.
1. Le pilote est sélectionné. Confirmez le choix en cliquant sur
1. "Suivant".
5. Après installation du pilote, cliquez sur "Suivant" puis sur
1. "Terminer" afin de terminer l'installation.

Note:
Vous pouvez également installer le pilote en utilisant la méthode
suivante lorsque, par exemple, Windows XP ne trouve pas le pilote
automatiquement. Pour y parvenir, insérez le CD dans son lecteur, et
ouvrez le dossier "NEC". Lancez le fichier "Setup.exe". Le pilote
s'installe.

ordenador portatil con quatro puertos USB 2.0. Puede conectar
dispositivos USB 2.0 como cámaras digitales, impresoras, escáneres,
teclados, ratones, altavoces, módems, reproductores MP3, lectores
de tarjeta, etc. al adaptador.

Hardware Instalación

1. Inserte el adaptador PCMCIA dentro de la ranura de pcmcia de su

4. Inserte el CD del controlador en la unidad y seleccione la opción
4. para "Examinar" la unidad CD. Ubique la carpeta "NEC" en el CD.
