Closed Campus Policy beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2014:
 We will be implementing a closed campus at both The Accelerated School and Wallis
Annenberg High School.
o All students must be dropped off at the front gate unless parents are
volunteering, observing in a classroom, or participating in a previously
scheduled appointment.
 Volunteer hours, classroom observations and meetings MUST be scheduled at least
24 hours in advanced.
 Visitor badges MUST be worn and visible at all times and must identify location
destination.
 Please remember that all visitors and volunteers MUST enter campus through the
front office, sign in, wear a badge, and sign out. It is very important that we know
who is on campus at all times.
 Beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2014, there will be time allocated for parents to
come onto campus at dismissal. At that time, we will encourage parents to pick up
their children and exit the campus in an orderly fashion.
o Mondays the campus will be open to parents at dismissal and will be
shutdown at 2:30pm.
o Tuesday-Friday the campus will be open to parents at dismissal and will be
shutdown at 3:30pm.
 Parents of kindergarten and 1st grade students only:
o If you are late picking up your child on a Monday, your child will be waiting
for you in his/her classroom until 1:45. After 1:45pm, your child will be on
K/1 yard until 2:00pm and at 2:00pm he/she will then be escorted to the main
office for pick up.
o If you are late picking up your child on a Tuesday-Friday, your child will be
waiting for you in his/her classroom until 3:15pm. After 3:15pm, your child
will be on K/1 yard until 3:30pm and at 3:30pm, he/she will then be escorted
to the main office for pick up.
 If you are late picking up your child on any given day, you must check in first with
the main office before going to the classroom or the K/1 yard to pick up your child.
 In an effort to help us maintain the safety of all students, it is important that you are
on time to pick your child from school.

Política de Plantel Cerrado empezando el martes, 2 de septiembre de 2014:
 Se implementará un plantel cerrado tanto en The Accelerated School y en Wallis
Annenberg High School.
o Todos los estudiantes deben ser dejados en la puerta principal a menos que los
padres estén participando como voluntarios, observando en una clase, o
participarán en una cita previamente programada.
 Las horas de trabajo voluntario, observaciones en la clase y reuniones DEBEN ser
programadas con al menos 24 horas de anticipación.
 Pases de visitantes DEBEN ser usados y visibles en todo momento y deben identificar la
ubicación de su destino.
 Recuerde que todos los visitantes y voluntarios DEBEN entrar por la oficina principal,
firmar la entrada, obtener un pase, y firmar su salida. Es muy importante que sepamos
quien está en la escuela en todo momento.
 A partir del martes, 2 de septiembre de 2014, habrá tiempo asignado para que los padres
entren al plantel durante el horario de salida. Durante ese tiempo, animamos a los padres a
recoger a sus hijos y salir del plantel de una manera ordenada.
o los lunes el plantel estará abierto durante el horario de salida y se cerrará a las 2:30
pm.
o de martes a viernes, el plantel estará abierto durante el horario de salida y cerrará a
las 3:30 pm.
 Para los padres de kínder y 1er grado solamente:
o Si usted llega tarde a recoger a su hijo(a) en un lunes, su hijo(a) estará
esperándolo(a) en su salón hasta la 1:45pm. Después de la 1:45pm, su hijo(a) estará
en el patio de K / 1 hasta las 2:00pm y a las 2:00pm él / ella será llevado(a) a la
oficina principal para recoger.
o Si usted llega tarde a recoger a su hijo(a) en un martes a viernes, su hijo(a) estará
esperándolo(a) en su salón de clases hasta las 3:15 pm. Después de las 3:15 pm, su
hijo(a) estará en el patio de K / 1 hasta las 3:30pm y a las 3:30 pm, él / ella será
llevado(a) a la oficina principal para recoger.
 Si usted llega tarde a recoger a su hijo(a) en cualquier día, deberá ir primero a la oficina
principal antes de ir al salón de clases o al patio de K / 1 para recoger a su hijo(a).
