CONFECCIÓN Y REMATE
Hilvanar la tira lateral alrededor de la cada frontal
en 3 partes, dejando una parte para la abertura
del bolso, en col. marrón claro y a 2 hilos trab.
encima a p. bajo haciendo 59 p. en cada parte
y 2 en cada esquina (= 185 p.).
Hacer lo mismo en la cara posterior.
Coser por dentro el cierre a presión en el centro
de la abertura.
Cortar la cinta de lona por la mitad, coser en
la parte superior, una tira en cada cara, dejando
entre medio 16 cm. de separación, coser encima
de cada extremo un botón (ver fotografía).

Back: Work same as front.
Side strip and base: using 2 strands of black,
chain 14 sts and work 13 double crochet on
top.
When strip measures 47 1/4” (120 cm), cut yarn
and fasten off.
FINISHING (MAKING UP)
Baste the side strip around 3 sides of the front
leaving one part which will form the opening of the
bag. Using 2 strands of light brown work 1 row
of single crochet on top with 59 sts across each
section and 2 sts at the corners (= 185 sts).
Do the same with the back of bag.
Sew the snap fastener on the inside at the centre
of the opening.
Cut the canvas tape in half and sew one piece
centrally to the upper part of each side of the
bag leaving a space of 6 1/4” (16 cm) between
the ends. Sew one button on top of each end
of the tapes (see photograph).

When all the rows of the graph have been
completed cont working in the same manner
increasing 2 sts in each chain st at each
corner.
When front measures 8 1/4” (21 cm), measuring
from the centre (= 15 rows with 59 sts at each
side) cut yarn and fasten off.
