such as nutrition, exercise, rest, and stress relief. We

World Apostolate of Fatima
1st Saturday—August 6, 2016
Join us every first Saturday of the month after the
8:15 a.m. Mass and every Tuesday from 6 -7:00 p.m.
to honor our Blessed Mother’s requests for personal conversion, the daily Rosary for world peace,
prayers and sacrifices for sinners who have no one
to pray for them, and reparation to the Eucharistic
Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Disciples of Divine Mercy Cenacle
Thursday, August 4 @ 9:30 a.m.
The Disciples of Divine Mercy Cenacle meet every
first Thursday of the month in the Marian Chapel
from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. We break open the Scripture for the Gospel of the day, meditate, and share.
We also pray prescribed prayers for the sick, wounded, dying, addicted, abused, those contemplating suicide, abortion and violence to others. In addition, we
also include prayers for the Pope, bishops, and

the conference room and couples reside at the hotel/
facility for the entire weekend.*

Ladies and Gentlemen you are invited to join our
Round Robin Bridge Club which will begin in September and play for seven months. Our first meeting will

School Supplies
As the beginning of school draws near, children in families
going through rough times don’t have the basic supplies to
begin the academic year. St. Edward’s parishioners can help
make sure every child starts school well-equipped by donating supplies to FAM by August 6. Throw a few extras in
your basket at the store; St. Edward’s school families ask
their own children to help pick out supplies for children
who need their help:

Mary’s Corner Gift Shop & Library
Please stop by St. Edward’s very own gift shop & library! We are located just outside the church
entrance and are open Sunday mornings from 8:15am – 12:30pm.
The gift shop contains a variety of religious articles: bibles, books, crucifixes, medals, children’s toys,
scapulars and musical CDs. There are also several gift items for baptisms, communions and confirmations! The library, which has recently been reorganized and updated, contains over 300 books.
There are categories on saints, scripture, apologetics, spiritual leaders, prayer, church history, and
much more. We also have audio books and a wide variety of DVDs.

Coping with Grief and Loss
We are offering a four-week group for those who
are experiencing the pain of loss. This teaching
and support group is led and facilitated by family
therapist and a specialist in grief counseling.
Place: View Room, St. Timothy Parish
Time: 7:00 to 8:30 pm Monday Evenings
