Librito de Mi Familia y Mis Amigos – Due Friday, May 9.
Create a book about six of your friends and/or family members.
You may use Google Presentations if you prefer.
Use the Spanish that you know. NO COMPUTER TRANSLATORS!!
Each page should include:
 Picture
 Paragraph of four to six sentences describing this person.
Look through your Spanish book and use vocabulary and constructions from throughout
the school year. NO COMPUTER TRANSLATORS!! What follows are some suggestions
for the kinds of vocabulary you may use; it is not an exhaustive list:
1. Éste/Ésta es . . .
2. Mi amigo/hermana, etc., se llama . . .
3. Él/Ella tiene ... años
4. . . . es . . . . now list adjectives describing him or her:
personality: simpático, inteligente, divertida, etc.
appearance : guapo, bonita, alto, gorda, atlético, delgada, etc.
age: viejo, joven, etc.
5. A . . . le gusta
6. . . . es de . . . .
7. . . . vive en . . .
8. Su . . . favorito es . . .
9. Something he or she does: canta, come, estudia mucho, juega, toca, etc.
10. When he or she does regularly: los sabados . . .; los dias de la semana
11. Describe appearance: . . . tiene ojos azules, tiene pelo rubio
12. You may include yourself as one of the people in the book.
Those students who use a greater variety of vocabulary in their paragraphs will
receive the higher grades.
 Your paragraphs should be typed or written neatly in ink.
Cover = 10 points
 You must include proper accent marks and tildes.
Rough Drafts = 10 points
6 x 15 points/page = 90
points

⇒ Have TWO of your classmates edit your rough draft.

they are allowed to comment.

What if I can’t find pictures? You may use magazine pictures or clip art
or use pictures of things associated with your person.
