Sistema de iconos. Un proyecto que propone una relectura
de las obras en clave de iconos de lenguaje moderno, que
pueden ser aplicados de una forma clara a una larga lista de
productos para comercializarse en la tienda del museo.

Esencia / Essence
La nueva imagen del Rijks Museum supone un nexo de
unión entre tradición y modernidad, valores que encarna
la colección que alberga. Esta renovación ha conseguido
captar la esencia (el alma) del museo.
Trasladando esos mismos principios a la reinterpretación
de algunas de sus obras, se ha creado una serie de
pictogramas (o símbolos) que recogen la esencia de la obra
representada. Reinterpretando, no la obra en sí misma, sino
su esencia más pura, se consigue una imagen que puede
ser transferida a diferentes soportes (postales, imanes,
carteles, cubiertas de cuadernos, mandiles, camisetas,
calendarios...).
The new image of the Rijks Museum represents a link
between tradition and modernity, values of the collection
that it contains. This renovation has managed to capture
the essence (soul) of the museum.
Transferring these same principles to the reinterpretation
of some of his works, has created a set of pictograms
(or symbols) that represent the essence of the work
represented. By reinterpreting, not the work itself, but its
pure essence, you get an image that can be transferred
to different media (postcards, magnets, posters, covers of
notebooks, aprons, shirts, calendars...).
