Construimos ciudades, nos aislamos, construimos espacios abstractos.
Solo rozamos la naturaleza cuando huimos.
La vemos a través de la ventanilla del tren, del coche, en la autopista,
la carretera, sin admiración, con descuido.
Frente a esta indiferencia nuestra, la naturaleza nos devuelve una imagen irreal.
La vemos sin detalle, huidiza, distorsionada, también abstracta.
Solo vemos líneas de vida esquivas, con el rabillo del ojo.
Líneas, paisajes. Paisajes lineales. Linescapes.
We build cities, we isolate ourselves, we build abstract spaces.
We only skim nature when we flee. We see it through the window of a train;
from inside a car in the highway, in a road, with no admiration, carelessly.
With our indifference, nature gives us back an irreal image.
We see it with no detail, distorted, an abstract glimpse.
We just see elusive life lines with the corner of our eyes.
Lines, landscapes, linear landscapes, linescapes.
