Il restauro della torre di Pisa si è concluso e la stampa internazionale pone attenzione
alla riapertura del monumento ai turisti ma soprattutto al lavoro per raddrizzarne in
parte l’inclinazione. Tra le testate che hanno dato più spazio alla notizia troviamo il
quotidiano di Hong Kong South China Morning Post e l’argentino La Nacion..

hat down over his ears and struggles across the slanted belfry to shelter behind a
medieval pillar. Berettini is battling the elements to put the finishing touches to an
eight-year restoration project to remove sea salt, pigeon droppings and graffiti from the

expresses pride at the project and says tourist numbers – and therefore funds for the

“Los trabajos, iniciados en 2002, evitarán que collapse el campanario”
"Tras ocho años de trabajos, y con menos inclinación que nunca, reabrirá totalmente
hoy sus puertas uno de los monumentos más famosos de Italia: la Torre de Pisa. La
torre fue sometida a un proceso de restauración para reducir el ángulo de inclinación que pasó ahora de 5,5 a 3,9 grados- y de consolidación". (...)
"En esta ocasión, el edificio permaneció abierto a los cientos de miles de turistas que lo
visitan cada año y que con el precio de la entrada contribuyeron a financiar en parte los
trabajos. Por tal razón, la mayor parte de los trabajos se realizó durante la noche, según
