Agenda: CORFO promotes programs of
Intelligent Specialization to sophisticate
and diversify the Chilean Economy.
Programs of Intelligent Specialization, based on a participatory methodology of
fourfold helix which supports the identification of:
New challenges or opportunities for
diversification
and/or
sophistication
towards the interior of a sector, subsector,
and/or habilitating platform of the countries
economy.
The process of detecting
and prioritizing of gaps to
achieve the challenge or
identified opportunity.
The
construction
and
implentation of a roadmap
with activities to close the
gaps.

OBJECTIVE
To impact on the development of Chile
through the substantial increase of
the
proportion
of
companies
developing projects of innovation of
products and process and the
innovative
capacities
of
the
companies, allowing them to achieve
significant changes in productivity
and competitiveness.
We
must
promote
the
development of ecosystems of
innovation and entrepreneurship.
Where universities, centers of R&D, entrepreneurs and
companies live in spaces of collaboration that
strengthen the initiatives generating proposals with
greater added value which allows for more competitive
scenarios.
