OPEN HOUSE AND BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTS
You are cordially invited to attend Dodge City Middle School Open House. This special open house
invitation is to all sixth, seventh and eighth grade students and their parents. The sixth grade Back to
School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16th and the seventh and eighth grade is scheduled for
Monday, August 15th.
All Back to School Nights for sixth, seventh and eighth grades will be held at Dodge City Middle School
from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The purpose of this back to school night is to provide an opportunity for students to review their
schedules, find their classrooms, meet with their teachers and check their locks and locker locations.
Sixth grade parents are invited to attend team meetings and tour the school.
SEVENTH AND EIGHTH GRADE OPEN HOUSE (MONDAY, AUGUST 15TH)

Seventh Grade students will pick up their schedules in the South Gym starting at 6:30 P.M.

Eighth Grade students will pick up their schedules in the North Gym starting at 6:30 P.M.

After receiving your schedule you should find your classrooms and locate and try out your lockers
combinations.

A school map on the opposite side of this letter provides classroom and locker locations.
SIXTH GRADE OPEN HOUSE (TUESDAY, AUGUST 16TH)

Very Important – Please Know Your Advisory Teacher’s Name and Room Number

Sixth Grade students will pick up their schedules in their Advisory Classroom from 6:30 – 7:00 P.M.
o Parents and Students on the Spartan Team will be seated in the North Gym once you receive your
schedule.
o Parents and Students on the Olympian Team will be seated in the Auditorium once you receive your
schedule.

Team parent meetings will be held from 7:00 – 7:30 P.M. at the above assigned locations.
o
After team meetings students should return to your classrooms and pick up your schedule if haven’t
already. 7:30-8:00.
o

NOCHES DE CASA ABIERTA Y DE REGRESO A CLASES
Está cordialmente invitado a asistir a la Casa Abierta de Dodge City Middle School. Esta invitación
especial de Casa Abierta es para todos los estudiantes del sexto, séptimo y octavo grado y los padres de
familia. La noche de regreso a clases para el sexto grado está programada para el martes, 16 de agosto y
la del séptimo y octavo grado está programada para el lunes 15 de Agosto.
Las noches de regreso a clases para el sexto, séptimo y octavo grado se llevarán a cabo en la Dodge City
Middle School de 6:30 á 8:00 p.m.
El propósito de esta noche de regreso a clases es de proporcionar una oportunidad para que los
estudiantes revisen sus horarios, encuentren sus salones, se reúnan con sus maestros y verifiquen sus
cerraduras y ubicación de los casilleros.
CASA ABIERTA – SEPTIMO Y OCTAVO GRADO (LUNES, 15 DE AGOSTO)

Los estudiantes de Séptimo grado recogerán sus horarios en el Gimnasio al Sur a partir de las 6:30 P.M.

Los estudiantes de Octavo Grado recogerán sus horarios en el Gimnasio al Norte a partir de las 6:30 P.M.

Después de recibir su horario debe de encontrar sus salones y localizar y ensayar la combinación de su
casillero.
CASA ABIERTA – SEXTO GRADO (MARTES, 16 DE AGOSTO)

Importante – Favor de recordar el nombre del maestro de asesoría y el salón de clases.
o
Los estudiantes del Sexto Grado recogerán sus horarios en su Salón de Asesoria de 6:30 – 7:00 P.M.
o
Los maestros asesores no estarán disponibles después de las 7:00 P.M. para recoger los horarios. Los
salones serán cerrados y reabiertos después de la reunión del Equipo con los padres.

Padres y estudiantes en el Equipo Spartan se sentarán en el Gimnasio al Norte una vez recibido su
horario de clases.

Padres y estudiantes en el Equipo Olympian se sentarán en el Auditorio una vez recibido su horario de
clases.

Las reuniones de padres de los Equipos se llevarán a cabo de las 7:00-7:30 P.M. en los lugares anteriormente
asignados.

Después de la reunión los estudiantes deben regresar a los salones a recoger sus horarios si es que no lo
han hecho todavía. 7:30-8:00.
