Peñas punto situado más al Norte de Asturias, con unos
impresionantes acantilados de más de cien metros de altura.
Departure to "Cabo Peñas", a natural protected cape, the most North place of Asturias, with
impressive cliffs, over a hundred meters high.
Siguiente destino: La Villa de Luanco, puerto pesquero donde visitaremos la playa de La Ribera, en la que
tienen lugar
ugar todos los años un espectacular torneo de tenis playa. Ruta a pie por la ciudad: encontraremos
la cuesta y torre del reloj, edificio de 1705 y la iglesia de Santa María, edificada en el Siglo XVIII.
Next destination: "La Villa de Luanco", fishing port where we will visit the beach of "La Ribera",
which every year celebrates a spectacular beach tennis tournament. Walking route around the city:

Finalizamos la mañana visitando Ell Museo de la Mina de Arnao: es la explotación de carbón mineral mas
antigua de la península Ibérica, el pozo vertical más antiguo de Asturias y la única mina submarina de
Europa.

Arnao" Mine Museum: the oldest coal exploitation of the
Iberian Peninsula, the oldest vertical well of Asturias and the only underwater mine in Europe.
Regreso a Avilés para degustar una espicha en el Llagar "Casa Lin". La espicha es una comida festiva
asturiana
turiana en la que se bebe sidra, en un Llagar y que se suele realizar de pie junto a los grandes toneles
de sidra.
Return to Aviles to eat an "espicha" at the restaurant "Llagar Casa Lin". The "espicha" is an

Durante la tarde, visita guiada al Casco Histórico de Avilés. Su historia es varias veces milenaria y tiene su
origen en la ría, el alma de Avilés. Pasearemos por Sabugo, el antiguo

During the afternoon, guided tour into Avilés historic centre. Its history is several thousand years

alida con destino hacía el Oriente Asturiano, en dirección a Covadonda,
Covadonda donde realizaremos una visita al
Santuario y La Santa Cueva, excavada en la roca donde mora desde hace mas de 1.300 años La Virgen de
Covadonga (La Santina), patrona de los asturianos.
Departure to the Asturian East Side, going to "Covadonga", where we will
w visit the Sanctuary and the
Saint Cave, excavated and built in the rock. The Covadonga Virgin, the Asturian's patroness, is located
there since 1.300 years ago.
Tras visitar el centro espiritual asturiano, nos dirigiremos hacia los Lagos de Covadonga,
Covadonga en el Parque Nacional
de Picos de Europa. A mitad del ascenso, haremos una pequeña parada en el "Mirador de La Reina", desde
donde podremos contemplar una espectacular vista de la costa asturiana. Posteriormente, llegaremos a nuestro
destino, donde encontraremos
traremos lagunas glaciares formadas por los lagos Enol, La Ercina y uno más pequeño que
se llama El Bricial, que sólo tiene agua cuando se produce el deshielo en las montañas.
After visiting the Asturian spiritual center, we will travel to the lakes "Lagos de Covadonga" in the "Picos
de Europa" National Park. Halfway through the climb, we will stop at the "Mirador de La Reina", where we

Tras un pequeño paseo, tomaremos camino hacía Cangas de Onís, primera capital del reino asturiano, donde
almorzaremos en el Restaurante "Villa María", finca exclusiva con amplio espacio abierto para degustar comida
típica de la región.

Salida con destino a Oviedo, actual capital del Principado de Asturias. Visitaremos en primer lugar,
las joyas del prerrománico asturiano: San
an Miguel de Lillo y Santa María del Naranco, en la falda del
Monte Naranco. Posteriormente, nos acercaremos el casco antiguo para visitar la Catedral y el
Claustro de la Facultad de Derecho. Tiempo libre para disfrutar del casco antiguo y del centro de la
ciudad. Recomendado visitar el "Bulevar de la Sidra", en la Calle Gascona.
Departure to Oviedo, the capital of the "Principado de Asturias". Initially we will visit the

Ya por la tarde, salida con destino a Gijón, la mayor ciudad de Asturias. Visitaremos la Universidad
Laboral, antiguo orfanato minero, construido al finalizar la guerra civil española y que actualmente
es un Centro de Creación Cultural y sede de escuelas universitarias. A continuación, visitaremos la
Villa
lla de Gijón: veremos el barrio marinero de Cimadevilla y las Termas Romanas. Posteriormente,
tiempo libre para disfrutar de su magnifica playa, centro de la ciudad y su variada oferta
gastronómica.

"Universidad Laboral", which used to be a mining orphanage, built at the end of the Spanish
civil war and is now a Centre of Cultural Creation and Colleges headquarters. Then, we will

Salida con destino a Luarca,, Villa marinera del Occidente Asturiano, enclavada en la Comarca Vaqueira,
puerto pesquero al abrigo del Rio Negro.. Inicialmente disfrutaremos de una vista panorámica de la ciudad
desde un mirador situado en el Faro al lado del famoso cementerio de la ciudad
ciu
(donde se encuentra
enterrado el premio Novel Severo Ochoa). Posteriormente, haremos una visita a pie a Luarca, conocida
como la "Villa Blanca" de Asturias, donde podremos conocer el "Circulo de Liceo", la "Iglesia de Santa
Eulalia" y el "Palacio del Marqués de Ferrera"

Asturias, where we will see the "Circulo de Liceo", the "Santa Eulalia" church and the "Marqués de
Ferrera" palace.

iglesia de Santa Marina. Esta población destaca por la calidad de sus pescados y mariscos. Al finalizar la
visita, pondremos
os rumbo al Faro Vidio, situado en la localidad de Oviñana, donde contemplaremos un
espectacular acantilado y una preciosa vista del mar cantábrico.
