Introducción
El 22 de octubre de 1983, el Hotel de México, fue sede de la primer Convención y
Exposición Educacional de ANTAD. 175 stands distribuidos en 6 mil metros
cuadrados en donde empresas proveedoras de productos alimenticios, de belleza,
tendencias de la moda e innovadores equipos electrónicos participaron en este
evento.
Tres décadas han transcurrido, el entusiasmo y compromiso que los Asociados de
ANTAD tienen con el sector, los lleva a celebrar 30 años de Expo ANTAD,
Convención que muestra el dinamismo del comercio detallista, a favor del
crecimiento económico y del empleo en México
Expo ANTAD es el punto de encuentro entre el comercio detallista y la cadena de
abasto, cumplir con las expectativas de negocio de los participantes, permitió su
crecimiento, 2,200 empresas muestran en 55 mil metros cuadrados sus productos y
servicios. La intención ha sido en todo momento, la de apoyar el desarrollo y
crecimiento del sector.
Expo ANTAD El Foro del Comercio Integrador, sustenta su fortaleza en tres pilares:
Negocios: Amplias posibilidades de acercamiento comercial en 45,000 m2, con la
presencia de 2,200 empresas y 35,000 visitantes profesionales
Educacional: Fortalece la actualización y el conocimiento de los involucrados en el
sector detallista para lograr una mayor eficiencia en la cadena de abasto.
Networking: Momentos especialmente creados para
contrapartes y sus empresas en ambientes de cordialidad.

sus proveedores a través de la gestión de foros, que promueve el acercamiento
entre ellos.
La Asociación está comprometida con la mejora continua del Sistema de Gestión de
Calidad y de su personal para lograr la satisfacción de sus clientes, sí lo establece
su Política de Calidad que ha sido renovada por seis años consecutivos con la
certificación, primero ISO 9001:2000 y actualmente con ISO 9001:2008.
Una vez más, EXPO ANTAD 2013, reúne al comercio detallista y sus proveedores,
expone de manera elocuente el avance del comercio de México y de las empresas
que lo componen.
Treinta años han transcurrido desde la fundación de ANTAD, a partir de ese
momento las cadenas Asociadas han promovido el desarrollo y modernidad del
comercio detallista y sus proveedores en una economía de mercado con
responsabilidad social.
Los Asociados de ANTAD están presentes en todas las ciudades, ofrecen al
consumidor el beneficio de adquirir sus productos en el comercio legal, que se
traduce en garantía, seguridad y buen precio.
La historia de ANTAD y sus Asociados está acompañados de un gran desarrollo,
actualmente está conformada por 103 cadenas Asociadas de las cuales 37 son de
Autoservicio, 18 Departamentales y 48 Especializadas, que representan a 32,131
establecimientos con más de 23 millones de metros cuadrados de piso de venta.

La ANTAD mantiene una interacción constante con organismos internacionales
como: Produce Marketing Association (PMA), Asociación Latinoamericana de
Supermercados (ALAS), Food Marketing Institute (FMI), Forum For International
Retail Association Executives (FIRAE), International Council of Shopping Centers
(ICSC), International Housewares Association (IHA), National Association of

Misión y Objetivos de la Asociación
Misión
Ser una organización de servicio que represente los intereses de sus Asociados,
promoviendo el desarrollo del comercio detallista y sus proveedores en una
economía de mercado con responsabilidad social.
Objetivos de la Asociación:
Promover la libre competencia leal y honesta.
Capacitar al personal de sus Asociados para su desarrollo.
Fomentar el intercambio de información y experiencias para mejorar la operación
comercial.
Hacer eficiente la interrelación de los integrantes de la cadena distributiva.
Promover los aspectos relacionados con responsabilidad social de sus Asociados.
Promover la cultura de respeto al medio ambiente, uso eficiente de energía y
fomento de energía renovable.

aplicación de los impuestos y otras contribuciones fiscales que afectan las funciones

financiera para la toma de decisiones.

Introduction

Convention and Educational Exposition of ANTAD.

food, beauty, fashion trends and innovating electronic equipment products
participated in this great event.
Three decades have passed since the first event, the enthusiasm and commitment
that the Associates of ANTAD have with the sector leads them to celebrate the 30
years of Expo ANTAD, a Convention which shows the dynamism of retail, in favor of
the economic and employment growth in Mexico.
Expo ANTAD has been the focal point to integrate retail and supply chain,
accomplishing that the business floor has increased its size, due to the fulfillment of
the positive business expectations, adding up to date 2,200 companies, a number
much greater to the initial of 175 exhibitors. The intention has always been to
support the development and growth of the sector.
In EXPO ANTAD we generate business environments supported in three great pillars
of activities:
Business: Broad possibilities of commercial approach in 55,000 m, with the
presence of 2,200 companies and 35,000 professional visitors.
Educational: Strengthens the update and knowledge of those involved in the retail
sector to achieve a greater efficiency in the supply chain.
Networking: Moments created especially to meet our counterparties and their
companies in environments of cordiality.
The ANTAD affords the appropriate business environment between the Retail Trade
and its suppliers through the management of forums, promoting their relationships.
The Association is committed to the continuous improvement of the Management
System and its personnel, in order to achieve customer satisfaction, as established
in the Quality Policy that has been renewed over five consecutive years with the first
certification, ISO 9001:2000, and now, with ISO 9001:2008.

Mission:
To analyze and diffuse the laws that the S.H.C.P. (Treasury Department) enacts and
issues in relation to taxes and other fiscal contributions, affecting the administrative
and operative functions of the Association.
To provide and diffuse financial information for decision-making.

Mission:
To foster the modernization of the market and the commercialization thereof, to the
benefit of Consumers, through free competition.
Committee of Foreign Trade and Border
Mission:
To promote regulatory improvement for the Foreign Trade transactions of our
Partners and to strengthen the competitiveness of the ANTAD partners with
establishments on the borders.
Committee of Communication and Image
Mission:
To establish communication mechanisms, enabling the consolidation of the image of
the Partners, and to diffuse the works performed by ANTAD to the benefit of
consumers.

Mission:

Mission: To maintain and enhance relations with Municipal, State and Federal

the Partners of the ANTAD, and to share information and experiences for the
development of programs to the benefit of the Mexican community.
