Dear Parent and/or Guardian,
Today, Lake Worth ISD was made aware of possible suspicious activity near the intersection of Shady Oaks Manor and
Quebec Street.
We have been informed that this morning a vehicle described as a white van with yellow/black writing on both sides, tools
on the left side and a ladder on the roof, slowly drove past one of our students. The van then turned around, put its head
lights on the student and watched the student. The student returned to his residence and the van left.
The safety and welfare of our students is always our top priority. The district will increase its presence in the area by the
use of the school resource officer. The LWISD transportation department has been made aware and will be on the alert
for any vehicle matching the description.
We hope you will use this as an opportunity to talk to your children about knowing what plan they need to have in the
event that something like this does confront them.

Hoy en día, Lake Worth tuvo conocimiento de la posible actividad sospechosa cerca de la calle de Shady Oaks Manor y
Quebec Street.
Se nos ha informado de que esta mañana un vehículo descrito como una camioneta blanca con la escritura de color
amarillo / negro en ambos lados, herramientas en el lado izquierdo y una escalera en el techo, poco a poco pasó por
delante de uno de nuestros estudiantes. La camioneta se dio la vuelta, puso sus luces largas en el estudiante y observó el
estudiante. El estudiante regresó a su residencia y la camioneta se fue.
La seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros estudiantes es siempre nuestra principal prioridad. El distrito aumentará su
presencia en la zona por el uso del oficial de recursos. El departamento de transporte LWISD ha sido informado y estará
en alerta para cualquier vehículo coincide con la descripción.
Esperamos que va a utilizar esto como una oportunidad para hablar con sus hijos acerca de saber qué plan tienen que tener
en caso de que algo como esto les pase.
