The Navigator El Navegante We welcome all to join us in being like Jesus Christ to our world. Damos la bienvenida a todos a unirse a nosotros en ser como Jesucristo a nuestro mundo. Twenty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time September 9, 2012 Please join us for Deacon Retirement Celebration Bill Monahan’s For more than 21 years, Deacon Bill has touched us with his sincere love of God and his willingness to serve God’s people as an Ordained Permanent Deacon. Many young couples have begun their journey toward the Sacrament of Marriage under Deacon Bill’s guidance and he has presided over many baptisms (some from the same couples he has prepared for marriage!) We’ve come to know Deacon Bill as a loving and compassionate father, husband and friend – a true role model for how we are called to live as Disciples of Christ. He reminded us, frequently, through his homilies that love is our calling and our obligation as Christians. Please make plans to join us on Sunday, September 16th after the 9:00 am & 11:00 am Masses to thank Deacon Bill for his years of dedication and service to our parish. We will certainly miss him as a Deacon, but know that he will continue to do God’s work daily in this new phase of his life.
